Is This the BEST Build For VII!? - Paladins PTS Gameplay

In this video, I showcase an absolutely incredible mobility spam build that we made on stream which allows VII to infinitely use his two movement abilities! VII can use his grappling hook to lower the cooldown of his roll, and then use his roll to lower the cooldown of his grappling hook! With the help of his talent Spring Loaded, he can lower the cooldown of his roll even further! And with chronos, he's basically unstoppable. I made some tweaks at the end of the video to fine tune the build, and I'm very happy with what we came up with! VII is SO MUCH FUN!

With chronos 1 and the 3rd talent you only need THE NIGHT 4 for full reset. 2 points into increasing the radius of the bombs makes a vin diagram of death you can put over the point easy 1500 on a yag.

And you only need NASTY SURPRISE 1 for practically unlimited ammo

They should add a inner cooldown (like 5 second for example) to both CDR cards by the next update.

nah, the character was clearly designed to have this mobility, internal cooldowns would make him weak and boring

no. the character has 1900 health. without mobility it would be bad

i think VII will be pretty good against yag, at least good enouth to be annoying to her and let your allies kill her, the fear stuns her so that's pretty good

Fear gets counted and if your yag is getting Annoyed with Vll they you playing yag wrong also Raum shouldn’t care

A lot of flanks are going to be crazy with max chronos now that you don't have to buy caut. Try Zhin with max Chronos. You're basically unkillable.

The problem is that flanks have better ways to cleanse caut as most other champions a max chronos zhin is just silly. Meanwhile you wait hours for your abilities as a frontline seems fair.

I think Burst will be the most popular mode, but that as skills grow, players will switch between Burst and Auto depending on the situation. I can't foresee that being very easy unless they remove that switch delay though.

I was thinking about the switch delay too, though there's a card that gives you ammo if you switch mode, so if there's no delay that card might be a bit too strong.

instead of burst only do a mag dumb game with this loadout and items, maybe with the ammo after a roll card.

It has amazing dmg, he probably didn't think about it at the time. Also it's better to to use it with deft hands starter instead of chronos.

750 damage over 5 shots and over 100 range for 3 bullets or 2000 damage for 40 bullets and only 15 units of range. 50 per bullet or 250 per bullet.

Honestly, I forgot I could switch for half the match. And the other half, I was just comfortable with burst and never really got in good enough range for mag dump. Also, I just don't like auto, so I never touch that.

They’re a small team, and within that team, people have different roles to play. You can’t except community managers or people who make skins to fix issues in a game because that’s not their specialty. If you watch the interviews that vex30 did, it’d kinda get you a look at how things work in the studio. It’s not that easy and things can’t go away at the snap of a finger and we both no damn well that you wouldn’t be able to fix some of the current issues, so stop whining.

I'm a huge OW fan, but I also enjoy Paladins from time to time, but I have to admit that characters in this game i mean their kit feels like most of them are incomplete. Take this hero for instance, his abilities are not connected and one of them is simply a weapon mod. I'm just babbling in the morning lol but that's how I feel about many of the heroes in Paladins.

I hate this new champion so much! He can slow, fear, reveal, has mobility, range, drops mines, can pull support classes away from the safety of its team, stealth..... you sure you don't also want to give him a self heal 😑

VII is fun, but they DESPERATELY need to put team balancing into the game. Everyone playing whatever the heck they want, team balance can take a flying leap, is just untenable. All they need to do is cancel out champion types when one already exists on the team. It's that simple.
