My inlaws live 35kms inland of alicante and we always try and go to Benidorm as part of when we stay with them. Keep doing what you love. My wife's started watching these with me now and been watching the places we've been with the kids, with the kids watching. You're style is brilliant. I watched this video whilst in Benidorm 28th Sept 2022 and decided to try Ray's Chippy for myself today 29th sept.Had large cod,chips and peas.I was amazed at the freshness,taste and quality.WOW !.Best fish I had in my whole life and that's no exaggeration.

British fish and chips - the white wet fish is mostly from Russia; the sunflower oil and wheat flour comes mostly from the Ukraine; the electricity comes from France, Norway, the Netherlands; some of the oil and gas comes from Russia, more in the EU, etc. The cost of fuel and all the rest of it means that fish and chips in the UK might be going up by 4 x the current cost. So, get down to your local chippy while you can!

Thanks for the video Tim. It looked a nice meal. The best fish and chips and mushy peas (which I love) have been in Harry Ramsdens in Manchester. Patrick not a fan of mushy peas having growing up in Aussie.

Hi love your content. You are actually at the wrong Ray's, the original Ray's is at the old town up a little side street...near dove Park...it is run by a family and they have been there for years...much better than the Ray's on lavente.

£8.20 for large cod and chips.. I was last in Spain so long ago it was cheap back then. Think its best to leave Benidorm for the Brits abroad gang with their constant vomiting due to overindulgence on overpriced drinks. Somewhere to let your daughter go on holiday to if you want her to come home well impregnated😂.... it is what it is.

You should have had the large fish , I find in any fish and chip shop the mini fish is never as good as the large . It’s was great to see you just having mushy peas and Tatar sauce with your food , people who have curry sauce and gravy makes me cringe . Cheers
