Hi Tim, I love your channel. Im guted you had the experience you had with the staff, completely unexpectable concidering the money you spent. I stayed here for 3 nights in December 22 for my 40th. I was lucky enough to have a great experience with staff and room - like you, I scrutinies everything, especially when spending so much money. I walked away when I won money in the casino €750 off the bill 😂. On the last day, the day of my birthday, my wife and I eat in the Le Louis XV restaurant. It happened to be the last day the restaurant was opened for the season, so the staff did make it extra special - that was just shy of €900 and the food was absolutely amazing. They gave us a traditional cake to take away, which we brought home, and when I got back to the room there was a big chocolate cake - my favourite - waiting for me. After eating everything in the restaurant, I felt like Bruce Bogtrotter from Matilda trying to eat it 😂

I loved Egypt one of the best holidays, stayed in Luxor, in 1990 all those years ago, said we would go back but never did, after the queen Hatshepsut terrorist attack not long after we went, anyway had children life changed

I’m sure we never paid per tomb when I went in 1990, also Tuntankhamun tomb was closed for renovation when we went, so disappointing. Loved it all those years ago

In Dominican Republic they literally have prisons that allow the inmates to live regular lives , family women can stay over, they have kitchens etc. Basically everything you need to live a comfortable life at home, only difference is you can not go outdoors at all, so its kinda sorta like being on an ankle monitor , blah blah you all can pretty much get the picture

When your wife said she knows what she’s going to get you for Christmas now, I thought she was gonna say an iPhone. IPhones have a feature called Find My through which Apple can find your phone. But you don’t have that with android. Plus with an iPhone your photos will all be backed up in the cloud and you can get a new phone and get your photos back. Actually, I just remembered that you can save your photos on Google if you have a Google account. If you had done that, you would be able to get your photos back that way. So if you don’t get an iPhone this time, get a Google account and save your photos to that account.

The belly bugs are in the air and everything you touch, just like in Thailand. Although they do sell you antibiotics cheaply at the chemist there, so don’t suffer when too long like we did, thinking it would go away on its own. 🥴
