I did this trail in Sept 2023 on my custom build emtb. Without my ebike the climb would have been super hard form me (67 yrs old). It is an amazing ride and your video captured it really well.

Incredible trail!! Ride in in mid wild flower bloom and it was beautiful! It’s soo much steeper than the go pro! I could smell my brakes at end of the bottom section! The creek at the end was raging at 4 feet deep! Scary as hell to cross!

You literally rode down with a broken foot by yourself, we provided only moral support. Strong AF. I'm also getting new brake pads from the PTSD haha

This is all old footage from last year in late September. Sorry, should have made a note of it. I hadn't been able to edit all this stuff. But yeah, absolutely beautiful.

We just did Crested Butte, LOVED IT, but didn't have time to do this. Looks amazing everyone said Dr Park and I didn't like it to much was wet and slippy. We want to go back there is so much to do. Great video thanks for sharing.

Beautiful video. I'm going out that way next month. Not in shape to do any high altitude stuff like this, but will surely be riding Fruita/Horsethief areas. May hit some Vail downhill that i think you posted before. Thanks for the motivational material.

I am in the area now. Done the trail many times but not yet this year. Is the bottom area before you really start climbing under water?

By the way you think that a bike with 120/120 travel is enough for trail or more travel is needed?

One of us. Unfortunate dumb crash, and thankfully it was a minor break, no surgery needed.

Man, great video, I did the 401 last year, question, is there any shuttle to the trail head? I am a very lazy climber. 🤘🏼

Not that I know of, but you can rent a ebike legally for this trail if you want. Also, 120 120 will do fine; as always, you'll just need to be a bit careful vs if you had more travel.
