I live in Vail and do really like and enjoy the bike park but they could definitely do a lot better compared to other bike parks around.

That trail ends at Westfir, OR. at the Office Bridge. There was a sawmill there for years. It's all torn down now but there's still a small community of people living there. The Office Bridge was named for the mill office which is on the other side of the river there. I think it's still a B&B. The river there is the North Fork of the Middle Fork of the Willamette River.

Be aware this is a multi use trail and you could encounter motorcycles moving uphill at a considerable velocity as well.

I grew up in Chattanooga. This was the first actual mountain bike trail I ever rode. Still one of my favorite trails because you can send it hard as hell without having to worry about technical features

Hey Stefano, hope everything is going well for you. I know you've been really busy. Just been thinking about your videos and all you contributed to my growing passion for this sport/hobby. I have graduated to an eMTB because I have arthritis in my knees (and have had surgery in both already) and it's the only way I can go shred without being unable to walk for a few days after. I picked up a gopro this week and recorded my first ride with it today. (Apparently if you don't check your gopro's angle when you first start riding you'll end up with an hour of footage of your handlebars and front tire. Oof. ) It's hard to talk during riding. Your video style is probably what I'll lean towards because the voice over really makes a lot of sense for me since I prefer to just ride while I'm riding. Man it's really made me miss watching you ride. Gonna go back and binge all your videos again lol. Hope you and yours are all doing well. I never did make it down to Moab after watching this, and I don't have any hope to be able to any time soon--they have a blanket ban on all things motorized, even a wimpy entry level class 1 eMTB like I have (motor makes it possible to ride, but I still use my Eagle gear all the time to get up climbs). Anyway, I still have the bell rung just in case someday you drop a new video on us. Again, hope you are well. You made an incredible impact on my life in a very positive way with your videos and I can't thank you enough for inspiring me to keep trying to get out there and keep shredding when I'd basically lost all hope of ever being able to again. Dan, I can't thank you enough for this message. For as long as I've been doing this, this is one of the most impactful comments I've received. I'm so happy to hear you've found a way to stay on the bike despite the challenges you've faced, its an honor to know i helped a little bit. Doing well on this side, still spending as much time as possible on the bike, I have tons and tons of video recorded, editing is what I'm struggling to find time to do.

@@BlindstuffMTB I hear that. I'm just learning how to edit and I'm amazed that I can spend hours on a video to have it still look so incredibly amateur after. I know a guy who does it if you're interested. I keep freshwater fish and am a moderator on a fishkeeping discord with ~13,000 members, founded by an 84 year old man with a KZfaq channel with somewhere around 250k subs (Father Fish). His editor is really good, does it full time. He charges $20/ hour. I can send him your KZfaq if you want to see what he would estimate for time to edit a video of yours?

I did this trail in Sept 2023 on my custom build emtb. Without my ebike the climb would have been super hard form me (67 yrs old). It is an amazing ride and your video captured it really well.

That's awesome! I hope to continue to ride into my late 60s and even later, with or without an ebike, whatever it takes. Keep shredding

You can, but it'd take a badass rider to be comfortable. I'd recommend renting a DH bike at the park if you want to try it out.

Incredible trail!! Ride in in mid wild flower bloom and it was beautiful! It’s soo much steeper than the go pro! I could smell my brakes at end of the bottom section! The creek at the end was raging at 4 feet deep! Scary as hell to cross!

Lasted for 3 years. Double D clipping is now tarnished for no reason especially it was chrome-plated. Gel linning fell apart, glued twice. The worst part is the internal stripes. Soft, internal material is covered by external "sweat-proof" plastic cover. It was very soft at the very beginning, but over time it cracked in many places and have sharp edges. Not to comfy to put it on and ride. Probably will buy some other brand if I still will be riding.

I like starting from Skyline parking lot. Taking Tumalo Ridge to Swede Ridge and riding South Fork down to Tumalo Creek trail back to the car. South Fork, I think, is the most fun trail I've ever ridden.

Don’t feel bad, I just rode predator for the first time Saturday and I walked that rooty chute too. It took me ten minutes to decide to do the rock rolls by the road at upper/lower intersection but I’m soooo glad I did, they were SUPER fun! ✌🏿✌🏻✌🏽

8 years have passed and I think this one is still a one way road if you pedal up as well as downhill. A great enduro helmet. Light, airy, comfortable and protective. What is there not to like? Well, its the looks you get from other cyclists, wearing openfaces when you wear it going uphill. But I dont care, it rocks my boat so there. And I get to keep my teeth if I fall on the rocks.
