School holidays in Queensland at this time of year are 6 weeks, they are 1 week in so far and school starts on Jan 23. Private schools usually start their holidays a week earlier though. Will you be takingg Tom to Australia Zoo? You guys should also check out the Glass House Mountains which are in the town South of Beerwah (where I live) where Australia Zoo is.

Except for year 10 and year 11 who finish in November so they have about 8 weeks.

I can't believe I found this.... I just got back from Noosa on the 15th after spending two weeks with my wife and my two teenage boys! perfect description of the area. Excellent presentation Guys!

Nice Video Molly, you did a lightning tour of the south coast(Jervis Bay/Surf Camp) I live just outside of Berry on a farm if you would like to see more of the area would be more than happy to show you around its an amazing part of the world, the weather has been strange the last 2 years in Australia HOPEFULLY we get better weather.

Totally unrelated to the video but I always thought Germany has such short summer holidays (with 6 weeks) bc holidays in the US are so long, I never realised that 6 weeks is basically normal everywhere else as well 😂

School holidays depend on which state you are in but generally schools head back last week January/ 1st week February

Welcome to Aussie,we live in sydney and can,t wait for NYE fireworks,i suggest you guys being in sydney for this time as you will not be disappointed.Hope the summer heats up should be hot in jan hopefully.My son is 21 and going to drive his car up the east coast and hopefully meet some ladies backpacking.Hope you enjoy our country,enjoy

I can’t believe you came to my town!! You are right that Noosa itself doesn’t have much nightlife but Maroochydore has much more of a scene and it’s not too far. You guys should come back to Noosa and stay for longer!
