Episode 127: Agelocer (A511159) Watch Review
This episode I talk about this great pilot’s watch. This brand has some interesting pieces but most if not all of their watches are too pricey. They do have really high quality watches compared to most other brands on Aliexpress, but there are improvements they could make such as the crown on this particular model and maybe even the strap. I can confirm the crown "wobble" is a design choice. There are other large crown, pilot style watches that have implemented this. The wobble is independent of the stem and is meant to protect the stem in case the crown is impacted. I bought mine in 2020 or 2021 for around $280 if I recall correctly. Case and movement finishing are very good Sunray blue, California dial looks great and is highly legible. Nice large date window and excellent lume. I got the plain (no rivets) black leather strap. It's a tad short...even for my 7" wrist. For what I paid, I feel I got good value.

11:35, mine is worst, it's wobbly and feels loose, when i ask the official dealer, they said it is for security reason 🤣. And in between the minute rail track at 6 o clock it's written Swiss Made, so funny. But i like the look of this watch, it's legible, strong lume, and the AR coating doing great. Maybe mine is from different batch, the Special Pilot word is in red, the hand are gold finish, the date window in white on black, and the lumes are in patina color. I got this watch nearly $400 😵

That’s a shame, the loose crown is a deal breaker even at that price. Otherwise a really nice piece. The dial reminds me of the 42 Club Sport Neomatik from Nomos.

It’s fine when screwed in, just when screwed out you can feel a little looseness but it hasn’t led me to have any actual issues with it when adjusting the time or date, but it is something they could have done better for sure. It does kind of have a NOMOS look to it now that you mention it. Thanks for watching!

I agree, that’s too much. As I mentioned in this video, I got it for much less about 2 years ago. Maybe you could wait to see how much it will be during 11.11 sale?
