I picked this one up for $50, comes in on Monday. I can’t wait to get it in my hands.

Could you please add details on the movement used in the watches you review?

I have 6 1/4 wrist. I bought this to mod but it fit my wrist so well, and looked way better than I thought it would, so I kept it original. Probably the cheapest watch I own but is definitely a favorite. I like the Full day complication, hard to find on a Seiko and I like the band. Another plus is that it's so light and doesn't move around on the wrist.

Dude I've had one 8 years change the battery 2X and its running great. Small chip out of the crystal, it's definitely not sapphire hardness. Reliable

I have this watch, I got it on eBay for only $20 on a .99 auction. It is a very beautiful watch, I got very lucky. I tried to get it a while back ago but it is discontinued.

Better hommage rgan Pagani, Cheaper .... however the metal band is a crap: no problem, this watch is beautiful with a maroon Leather band !

Unrelated, but could you kindly answer a question about your previous review/video about the Pagani PD 1661 "Cermit". Does yours have a sunburst dial or that kind of reflection coming off the crystal? I have this watch from several years ago and it has a very annoying sunburst reflection but I can't tell if that originates from the dial or from the crystal. Do you know if I get the 2024 version if it might come without that effect? Many thanks and I appreciate your valuable content!

Does the bracelet pull hair out of your arm?

ive just bought one of these , but it takes ages for main hand to get started , i have to keep shaking it to keep it going for about 10 mins , & when i take it off it suddenly jumps 20 minutes , is this normal ? .

Thanks for the review. One small thing that I noticed is that it doesn't have a small dot separating the 31 and 1 on the date subdial, so it appears as 311. I can't unsee it!

Also I doubt if anyone buys these as homages and certainly not replicas as most aren't aware of the host watch. We buy them because of how they look and price. Maybe even a try before you buy if you're thinking of the longines. I've bought expensive watches and end up dissatisfied with aspects of them and that's at 3k and ended up selling on at a loss. I bought the pagani chrono of this and love the dial with recessed numbers but awful lume that's worse than that kids bedroom lume paint and that pointless vk63 movement spoil it but it cost me £50 . A crazy low price even at double that price. But for me it is a try before I buy of the spirit

Let down by the lume. Cestrian or tandorio are better all round with really good lume.

I received this watch this past weekend. It's still available on Amazon and Jomashop. I haven't owned a Seiko 5 before, so I didn't know this didn't have the manual wind function. I was curious why it kept stopping the next day, then researched how to wind it. Overall, I like it. Love the dial. The color is awesome and the numbered indices add a fresh look. I also like the placement of the day window. And while the bracelet looks cool, it isn't all that great. It does feel cheap and the edge of the clasp has already scratched the brushed portion of the adjacent link. So, they didn't do a good job with that.
