F3 cancel is minus enough that you cant gimmick your way out and lose your turn (you can practice flawless block afterwards ofcourse). F3 into low/ OH is not a blockstring and you can S1 punish anyone trying to to so with big window timing as well. people argue his MB3 makes anything he does safe, but no. when it whiffs, and it will, be it after a blockstring or in neutral, you're -25 on whiff, guarantee to lose your turn and even worse, punished

@@tranvu_fgc if you're predictable then yes, you can be punished. but people are looking for the stagger into throw or the f34 which kb's. so it's more about the mind game than the frame data

@@mcmurray360 sin blade is scorpions best move after the tele cancel. Its a neutral weapon and a combo optimizer.

@@mcmurray360 me too man, its so underrated too. Probably bc the timing is fairly difficult in a normal combo. I think scorpion moves up a tier if sin blade and tele cancel are both equipped.

Ashame that the devs made them as reliable as they are.

This is my favourite variation for scorpion before custom variation but since I have master the timing on son blade combos I have it every custom variation. I think people don’t use it because it is hard to get down.
