Might be interesting to use the hack but change the word 'Beautiful" for something else depending on the look you're going for. Example "I can't believe how surreal this is", "I can't believe how amazingly detailed this is" "I can't believe how dark and scary this is" "I can't believe how retro futuristic this is" or "I can't believe how much this looks like a Gustav Klimt (or whatever artist you want it to look like) painting"

IDK, dude. This is a bit of a stretch. The describe feature isn't running off the same language model as imagine, so it isn't really "how midjourney sees the world." It's closer to clip interrogator actually. It gives us an idea of how an AI might see it, not unlocking secret midjourney hacks. Honestly, I don't see that including "I can't believe how beautiful it is" makes any significant differences between these images. It feels a bit like using "award winning" in v4 prompts. It definitely changes the results, and sometimes that can make all the difference, but none of these changes feel more profound than you could have gotten by simply rearranging the words a bit.
@devnull_
@devnull_ Жыл бұрын
Same goes for Stable Diffusion, you can add random characters or strings in your prompt, and the end result will change a bit, as there are new/more/different tokens now in your prompt.

I used it from day one. It is unbelievable what I got back from uploading older image prompts when I was a little more ignorant to what was going on, but the idea was there. Some of the stuff I got back from refreshing these prompts from Midjourneys end felt exactly what I was going for on some of them. I think I’ve said “no way” like 20 times out loud. 😂 . It is VERY helpful for prompt structure. Even with V5, if done well, prompts can be short as you see with Describes text attempts.

Which is what I'm looking for. Great channel by the way, I got into this recently and I'm learning most things from you, so -- thanks. What I “can’t believe” is how a cheap crappy AI art generators like Craiyon (formerly Dall-E) is so much better than Midjourney in some aspects. For example, if you ask it to model a specific car, Craiyon will make bad art but it will be OF that exact car. Meanwhile midjourney wont even attempt to make that car & create totally unrelated random cars unless it’s a super popular model in which case it’ll make it flawlessly. Why is that?
@FutureTechPilot
@FutureTechPilot Жыл бұрын
It honestly could just be a dataset issue. Maybe Midjourney wasn't trained on a lot of car types
@azhurelpigeon
@azhurelpigeon Жыл бұрын
@@FutureTechPilot Interesting, I’ve never understood where midjourney gets its data. Seems like Craiyon just amalgamates Google as you can look up almost anything & it will poorly attempt to make art out of it. Meanwhile midjourney is either mind-blowingly spot on, or doesn’t even try. So curious to me

@@FutureTechPilot imo Midjourney and ChatGPT are both REALLY good at accurately interpreting how humans would perceive their outputs. Midjourney understands our input nearly as good as ChatGPT does. Consequently, if you instruct either of them to generate a piece of writing that elicits a specific response, they will fulfill that request regardless of how the wording used. While many people are aware of their proficiency in producing "professional" or "funny" content, they are also good at evoking reactions such as 'things that would make me go whoa, crap thats scary!" or "that Black Grandmother women would adore' . Both Chat GPT & Midjourney both seem to have a similar level of proficiency in comprehending natural language like this. Midjourney knows what we like better than we know what we like. Describe who you are and tell it to make a --tile that you would like. To keep things organized you can see it with --tile also.
