Also I definitely feel these need to be lubed. The prices I think are due to the new stem mold for the inserts. I also loved copper most! But it is definitely a time consuming thing. I wish they could sell them already with the inserts applied. But maybe that’s something for the future!

Cheers! Yeah it feels like recently in-stock options are becoming more frequent. The Arc 60 being a pretty good example of a high quality board without the long wait time. However I think its naturally just part of the hobby being built on the back of many small creators. Not everyone has the revenue to fund their entire project up front, larger companies like QK and Mode might have that luxury but even then with the fast paced nature of the hobby it can be hard to tell if an in-stock item will stay that way. Ideally this wouldn't be the case but FOMO (even perceived fomo) can play a large part in decision making. That's why I'd like to further advocate second-hand purchasing. I've found some amazing items, like the u80-a for instance, through second hand markets. Just my opinion however, I could definitely improve with FOMO purchases. I guess creating this video in a way is a small step towards that realisation. Appreciate your continued support!

Yeah, it would be nice to see NovelKeys improve their design. I say give the titanium inserts a shot and lube them to see if you find the improvement worth it. But yeah I’m underwhelmed so far

Initially I agreed. I tried these switches on an aluminum plate and they were very pingy. But I tried them again on a PC plate and I really like them now. I do agree that the tolerances are not as good as some other premium switches. How do you like the black lotus switches. I have found that one out of every three to five switches have leaf ticking even after lubing.
