Is This The Hardest ATV Trail In NC?!?! Trail 9 Brown Mountain OHV

#BrownMountain OHV in Collettsville, NC has some of the most technical terrain I've ever ridden. Especially Trail 1A for climbing and Trail 9 for descending. This footage is from a few years ago on my Suzuki #KingQuad 500 AXI (that I no longer own). My buddy is navigating on his Honda CRF 250X. Let me know if you have been on this trail and your opinion. i just rode this trail today on a cforce overland 1000 and it is gnarley the video will never do justice to what it is really like but your video is a close as you can get without being there

Thanks for saying. Well done making it through. I think only people who have never ridden it are saying its easy. Brown Mountain is no joke.

There is a short one at Chadwick MO that must be a 35° decent...? Spent much time standing on one floor board or another just to balance.... and many times say front left and back right tires only on small boulders.... had to take 2 others down that treck too.... I'll never do that one again...

Great video again sir! Kudos to your friend on his Honda. I'm a flatlander and have no experience with bikes in rocks like that, so to me this trail on a bike seems like quite a challenge. Looking forward to you playing around with your scrambler. We already talked about Buffalo Mountain. Have you been over by Doe Mountain near Johnson City?

Thanks for watching. Yeah he was a trooper on that trail. Even handled the fall well. I have been to Doe Mountain several times. Great place and they keep adding trails over time. I have a few videos from there if you get a chance to check them out.

i have road all of the trails on a trail boss 330 2 wheel drive, rough trails. 1a was the hardest trail

Is this place close to Boone ? And what are the rules with having a kid passenger ?

Its about 45-50 minutes from Boone depending on where you live. If you do a Google Maps search for Brown Mtn OHV you will see it. Its a govt park so the official rules say the vehicle is supposed to carry the number of passengers its designed for. Trail 1a is the hardest trails by far. The ruts on 1a will swallow a rzr. 9 is easy for a rzr. Uwharrie is a joke except for the gatekeeper but its not worth eatin 10lbs of dust.
