When I was first exposed to quake speedruns it looked like magic, but what this channel has taught me that there's no magic, only insanity in the best way possible. Inspiring.

Can I just say, your channel is simply amazing. The time and effort you put into your research, production and delivery is just sublime. You have way too few subs for the quality of content you make, and I'd like to contribute what I can to ensure you keep going. Get a Patreon going! I'd definitely support you there!

Your channel will be a great addition to my list of video game dads telling bedtime stories to help me fall asleep. This is an honor only ascribed to the greats such as Decino, Ross Scott, Karl Jobst, and 2kliksphilip so far.

I remember watching downloaded demos of Quake clans in the '90s of their crazy moves and rocket and grenade jumps. I've played a LOT of Quake since 1996 and have burned out a 17 inch CRT from Quake and DOOM alone but the THOUSANDS of hours of Quake I have played is a joke compared to seeing what these Quake GODS can do. Not a day goes by where I don't think about all the fun I had playing Quake deathmatch on dialup on the Pentium 133 and later the Pentium 200MMX.

It's absolutely incredible, having this kind of determination is wo a doubt something that only mad people could make, but once they achieve it there aren't more than geniuses. Congrats Muty and TY QSE for another awesome video. GG

You have got to convince the Quake community to use astronaut and cosmonaut skins. Because these guys look like they're floating in zero gravity...

I can't imagine how many attempts Peter made to get his original run. Assuming he was just going for it with no exact set up, probably a lot.

This is not a joke, but the finish of this video almost made me tear up a little bit. After first seeing Muti's reaction of when he messed it up, followed just 2 minutes after by the success of all his attempts, harvesting the fruit of all his efforts... I just say wow.

Your storytelling scratches a nostalgia itch I never knew I had. Bravo!

I get emotional and goosebumps to see that a game from 27 years ago still maintains a huge active community, with new players. Quake speedrunners, for me, are definitely the most skilled speedrunners out there

I like how your vids are just so chill despite the fast and action-packed nature of quake.

I love these videos. As someone who's never played Quake and generally isn't into speedrunning I normally find this type of stuff uninteresting. A lot of speedrunning content is very loud and obnoxious to me, but the laid-back and more reserved tone and production is great. You do such a good job of explaining the tricks and showing off the tech and mastery behind pulling them off. I also love how you always go through the history of the records showcased and the progression through the ages, these videos also feel like neat little history lessons on a niche part of gaming culture.

Can we just appreciate the insane attention to detail in the editing and production of these videos? Like, synchronization of video to audio for the intro music to start just as a grenade pops, the use of editing to drive home the storytelling... Like, it's just a lot
