There's a reason you don't see many mtn bikers at Star lake - it's a huge climb to get there! Good job.

Great video! So exciting to see you fly along over such rocky trails and nothing stops you! Im a senior gal who never learned to ride a bike (ranch kid, no pavement so we rode horses instead) and I find your videos breath taking and somewhat shocking! Love the extreme beauty, and seasonal changes! I watched that section with the bear over and over a dozen times and never could catch a glimpse 😥 , too fast. Glad you were OK. I'd be scared sh**less! Just a thought, maybe the bear spray would be helpfull if the bear makes you go off/ down, so you could defend yourself if on your back? I love your vids. All of them; snow, rain, sunsets, paddling, esp the dogs ❤ Keep em comin!

I’ve never been to Star Lk. Something to think about. Beautiful!! Would love some of those trout. 😋 That’s a wild ride. Nice of the bear to hurry across the trail for you. We have three mountain lions in back of my home on my neighbors horse property. Channel 13 wants to interview our neighborhood about it. I lost one of my cats two years ago to something. Maybe the den. They’ve been here 3 years they say. One jumped onto my roof one night at midnight two months ago. 🙀 I went to Miese Meadows today. It was fantastic. My pal came down from Oregon and we headed up today and had a great hike. No animal incidents luckily. Have a great visit with your family in Mn. I’ll be going to see my 99 yr old dad for Father’s Day. I know!
