Thanks. I have to be thrilled with a triple perfect promo to max rank 😆 I was playing more aggressive than I would like to, but I'm still figuring this game out and know I shouldn't approach it the same was as Tekken 7

I have been wondering how you time the db2 tail spin extension. I have done it a few times accidentally but I don't know what the trick is off of the df3,1 float.

I've done a few videos on the matter, including my "complete character guide" which breaks down the process in the execution section 🙂 The way I do it is by inputting df+3,2 but the moment I see the df+3 come out, I start holding db instead. The instant you see her twitch for the backsway, you press the 2. Once you're familiar with the timing, you can do it without seeing the twitch, and that's necessary for some of her hardest combos

Lol actually, it wasn't our first game and I had a good idea of how they'd react to a lot of my pressure. I didn't expect a triple perfect though!

your Nina is insanely good, congrats on the promotion 🙂 i have a question though, how do you make hayashida step look so clean? for some reason it looks stiffy and awkward when i do it on ps5, so i'm wondering if it's framerate related or wrong inputs

Thanks heaps 😁 For the last year I've been playing on a leverless controller and so my hayashida is being performed with 2 hands. You can do the same with a pad by using the the analog stick for the up input. You effectively do a qcb, then tap up the instant before you do another qcb, cancelling the SS on the earliest possible frame

At about 4:30 what is the actual situation here after evil mist?

Evil mist does 10 recoverable damage and guarantees no hits if it connects. It is however incredibly high frame advantage with "guard frames" meaning all they can do it block. So you can use this advantage to do a WR+1+2 or a fully charged ff+1+2 for another 9 recoverable damage, then use that frame advantage to still pressure them

dash immediately after then hit d22. dash ws 3+4 and dash db43 also work.

Yeah, doing the dash ASAP is the key. Also, you don't have to dash as far forward as you probably expect. Dash into WS+3+4 is an amazing option, but I use d+2 mostly due to muscle memory from T7 right now
