i like kill shot in wu, they're often coming in on the ground with big creatures while you fly over, makes racing feasible

Big smile at 41:02. One of the many differences between my gameplay and Mythic player gameplay - I don't win those protracted, complex, multi-bomb slugfests where incremental advantage and decision making decides the contest. Love to watch players of this skill battle.

At 46:00 I think it would have worked if Lagrella had an actual death trigger like Fiend Hunter. But since it is "as long as", the creature ETB at the same time as the veteran dies, so your opponent can choose the order of their triggers.

1:02:37 opp Time Ebbs your Giada to prevent the Ice angel trigger I don't see them doing that with the mtgo interface; they'd obviously see you only had 2 draw phases left, and returning a creature to the library would give you 1 more round of Ascendancy roflcoptering

When wiretapping / conniving you seem to prefer to ditch the dual lands and keep the untapped ones. I would value the ability to turn the dual land into a card, am I thinking about that wrong?

depends on scenario of course, but if I'm drawing 2 cards a turn I'd rather have access to more mana than play a tap land

I thought during the 39:00 alpha strike they were going to kill you post blocks by bouncing whatever blocked the Jewel Thief and Trample you when you didn't double block it with more toughness odd blocks overall, with taking extra damage from an unblocked flyer rather than risk Lagrella in combat. never punished Ascendency for the Bronze God

Yeah stressfull situation with bad open mana, bad blocks and bad combat tricks. Play around pump, bounce, first stike, 4/4 and all that can happen is difficult. If dead to pump, ehy not block with Lagertha still?

So the format has become something like uw flyer, gw goodstuff, rb sac and ub selfmillvalue. theres nothing in between & i actually dont like it as much because theres less avenue to pick during drafting

At 37:05 you could have killed the opponent on game 3 by attacking with 3 flyers and and the unblockable fish (using the crowbar to get rid of the enchantment) or am I missing something?

showing pretty well why this format kind of sucks. lol. i get a lot of AFR vibes from this set. one deck is the best deck of the format by a mile, blockers don't matter. i think this set is mildly better than afr, but that's not a high bar to clear... i feel like this is the second worst draft format since arena's launch.
