@@fencingboy101 They mould it from the stuff they put on. I guess they fiberglass over the popsicle sticks and clay, let it cure, take of the fiberglass, take off the clay, and mould the carbon or whatnot in the fiberglass that they moulded from the car, let that cure, take it out of the mould, and voila, you have a body panel. I do think the car looks really good. But only from a distance. I don't know if it's the camera angles or something but I have a few issues with the car. 1. There seems to be size gaps in the door jams and other places. I understand you guys probably started with a mid milage S2k, but I think they were overlooked. 2. The body kit lines don't exactly seem to be flush to the actual lines of the car. I understand you had to custom fabricate certain parts but this issue on top of my previous issue ... Eh I'm just whining I guess. 3. All the money that went into the car and it's not very fast. I really do like most angles of the car but for the 10k body kit and cost of the car... But I guess on the track it would be perfect. Oh, and it's missing the hood! They didn't even address that once lol. I want to see what the car looks like with the hood.

Wow I built a 2.0 aka 2.slow VW Golf motor back in 2006 that was making 296 at the wheel. Up from the original 85whp. Dynoed at a local Honda shop before and after tuning. They couldn't believe it. Not into anymore, but someone got the car. Long story. Had a 3k dollar turbo kit in the trunk just waiting to be installed. Someone banked. Had about 15k in aftermarket in the car. Regrets! If you live around Newport News, Va and ended up with it, congrats!

Nice work on the front. The added air control features on the corners of the bumper turn it into a catfish face, pretty badass. Only thing I'd try to work into the front would have been air curtains, with upturned internal vains. 2 reasons 1 air curtains =reduced drag =faster race car on less HP 2. inturnal turning vanes would provide front downforce. =good for race mode.

no it doesnt look a the lights are miatas are round the s2k is a big roadster, that engine bay is ridiculously huge meanwhile that gens miata has the battery in the trunk i believe or thats na only but apples and oranges. The new miata has nothing on this to this day stock. Has a previous owner of both vehicles 94 miata/s2k ap2 08 sports edition and have driven daily the 2009 miata daily as well you can tell thats a s2k from a mile away. not only that its supppper low to the ground stock.

haroot pashayan yeah it's obviously not oem clean but it is damn nice for a custom build. I'm sure it was a solid candidate to begin with no rust or corrosion etc. But I can appreciate both just as much, personally.
