This is the new Rlaarlo AK787 dual motor/esc carbon fiber 1/10th scale RTR RC car!
The model I got costs $425 here in China, but the model I ordered costs $562. Unfortunately Rlarrlo couldn't get the ESC's to play nice with the big 19500KV motors...
No speed run in this video, but speed runs are coming!
A couple issues I had testing it today: 1) The gyro went a bit nuts so I had to disable it. And 2) I couldn't get the headlights to work.

*_Heck yeah! I'm just getting into this hobby. My uncle has been in the RC scene for years & builds them from scratch. He gave me a 1/10 scale recently that represents an old Honda Civic Hatch. It is electric with a brush motor, but he pretty much built it from scratch. I want to upgrade the motor to one that's way faster!_* Also I love the buy me a coffee in the bio 😆 adds a nice touch

You need to use a 4s high magnification battery to drive this demon motor! This demon motor has a capacity of 80000 revolutions! 6S can truly awaken it!

Yeah. It’s nice. Will do some speed runs with the installed motors and ESCs, and then with new ESCs and the big motors. Hopefully this weekend. Gotta lower the height and set the toe in and camber front and back.

I think Traxxas has their market and they max the price their market is willing to pay. I wonder how many new customers they get though, with their premium pricing. I only have 2 Traxxas rigs: the Maxx and a TRX4. I got both on sale.

Nice unboxing the first video on KZfaq of the dual motor i believe. Are the batteries soft case or hard case? Btw the arms in the other models are plastic not aluminum like yours. Thanks.

Yeah. I guess only the big motor versions come with all the CNC’d aluminum suspension bits. Too bad those big motors don’t work… But actually, I think they his car will be plenty fast with the smaller motors installed. Will find out this weekend.

Nice I own one too dude go over the car that mesh sounds not great, my gold 52T Spur was bad I changed to a plastic 68T but you can put your 40T pinion in as a spur and run your 3900kv’s with the big pinion’s Cheers Mr Reds RC Repairs

Yeah. The mesh is not great. I have to do a complete set-up. Gonna run on these motors and then switch them and the ESCs out for the bigger stuff.

Very nice ! Are you going to test it where you tested your BBX ? It had lots of space and almost no people driving there Get the Arrma Limitless if you like speed run cars 😉

Yes. Same location. I have an Arrma Infraction. Can’t drive it near my flat really, and it’s too heavy to be carrying across the city. lol

Very tight out of the box. Lots of metal flakes in the chassis after that short driving session. I don’t really think that good spur gear is of great quality. Bought their larger black one to replace it.

I am working on my RLAARLO dual motor upgrade. I’ve had your video on while I worked on it. How many amps is the ESC you are referring to? The 2 I purchased are each 120 amp. The motors I have on the way are F3670-2830’s. What size are the motors you say are too big? If you mentioned the ESC amps & the actual size of the motors I missed it more than once.

The two motors that were supposed to be installed are the Rlarrlo F3670-BT 1850's. The stock ESCs are 120amp. They don't have enough power I figured out. Checked with Rlarrlo and they said I was right. So I bought 2 Rocket 160 amp ESCs, but I have learned they are nopt so great. So I've now got 2 Hobbywing Max 6 ESC's I'll install. They'll be good.

🤷‍♂️ if u want to go hw the bullets are 6 1/2mm these are prob 4mm ,gyro prob vibrating making it feel like the car is swaying making it all wonky 🤷‍♂️double motor is gimmicky sorry 1/10 will not need 2 motors but if you’re going to try get 2 queen hobby 120a esc they cheep lots of amps & so far have used 5s on mine lol no probs

Dual motors are a bit of gimmick, but they also half the load on the motors stopping overheating. I bought 2 rocket 120amp 6s ESCs, but then I read the reviews of them releasing the magic smoke. So I’ve bought 2 Hobbywing Max6 ESCs to install with the big motors. That should work, if there is enough space to mount them.

You can activate this demon motor in just 4 seconds! No need to replace the ESC! If you want to keep up, it takes 6 seconds!

I wanted to order such a car...but I couldn't get my payment somehow through Paypal...I asked them for help...it's the worst service ever...or they didn't understand me or you just don't get an answer ...that's really bad...a shame because I really wanted the ak 787 dual

I take it that you are in the US? I think the issues with service and parts (according to other overseas customers) is that they are a Chinese Company who are just getting started and their product line and appeal is behind their internal organization. For the first AK release we got it months after everyone in the UK and US did. They didn’t have it for sale at all. A fact I complained to the company directly about. For this release it seems the opposite is true. I’m sure it is coming in the West, but it will take some time. And obviously, the big dual motor version that mine was supposed to be is not really ready for the market in China or overseas. I’d wait and try talk to them again. I don’t think they are a very big team anywhere and maybe the company needs more staff and oversight of their Western operations.

The motors work. It’s the ESC’s. Not enough amps. I thought it was good of them to install and send 2 smaller motors free of charge since this version of the car, with the big motors isn’t even available internationally. I’ve bought 2 Surpass Hobby ESCs to try out, but I hear they are prone to releasing the magic smoke 💨 So I might get 2 Hobbywing Max 6 instead. Don’t want to burn the car after-all. With the installed motors, the car is already incredibly fast. Not sure the big ones are even necessary, but since I have them, I might as well run them.

Testing the car on wet surfaces makes absolutely no sense. And you need a lot more space. Are you a beginner in the hobby?

Well, didn’t plan the rain 🌧️ and I just wanted to work the kinks out. And no, not new to the hobby. That’s the biggest patch of relatively empty pavement for miles, btw. Shanghai is one of the most densely populated areas on earth, if you didn’t know.

Bro he kept sliding to the curb and back the wing as well. Lower your dual rate especially in the wet road u will total this easily
