That's because women have most students loan debt, credit cards debt, and auto loan debt than men. Most females arent financially literate, so they don't understand things like debt leveraging, 401k, life insurance, and etc. Women are so driven into instant gratification. I worked for Virginia Unemployment during covid and I can't tell you how many highly educated females that literally live paycheck to paycheck making over 100k a year because they wanted that lifestyle of the nice house and cars. Most men who have money you would never tell because they live frugally. Most men that have wealth know monetary possession wouldn't bring happiness. Women are the opposite. Women think monetary possession is a sign of wealth and happiness. Why do you think society caters to women? Because they carry the most debt. The government, society, and etc use women to extort money for men. Why do you think females get into the club for free when clubs are losing their profits because men will spend on them. You can think about weddings, Valentine's day, and etc. Again, the use females to extort money from men because men use money to get females, but females have been tricked by society that money is measurement of your success and happiness.

Sis, I think you just highlighted one of the problems without even knowing it. Maybe if someone had said it to sisters without always needing kid gloves on, back in grade school, middle school, high school and or college, like every other race of female on the planet, this issue wouldn't be such a phenomenon with our people. Meanwhile, back in real life... black women lead the world in sayings and catch phrases like "Fu#k Yo Feelings". Shruggs. Maybe that was the problem. You do know that Every brother is just like him. Until he realizes that he's wasting his breath. He just knows how to stay calm and get paid from it. It's easy to charm a fat girl when you've got cookies on you. As in telling women what they want to hear to get their ear later on. That's like using treats to train pets. It's kind of sad that it works but, I'm not hearing on that. One day tho, if he gets frustrated on screen and, curses y'all out, and won't share any cookies, just make sure that your view of him doesn't change and that you're still here for it because he's no different than the rest of us.

He’s got a point! The definition of provide is to supply or make available something that is wanted or needed. That’s not limited to money!
@misswill84882 ай бұрын
That is the definition indeed, but you can’t get any supply of anything without money and you can’t get money without working. Basic human needs require money. Food, water (healthy water), running water, roof to cover your head, clothes, electricity, heat/air, gas, healthcare, vehicle to transport, and in today’s society- the internet to connect with the world and/or register online. Now, there are intangible things he can supply also like love, friendship, protection, guidance/advice, support including physical presence, mental, emotional, spiritual, and moral support, leadership, service, kindness, care, affection, and cheerfulness. Now, all of the intangibles are much needed, but those physical needs that he can pay for is what helps you survive. Without those, you can die. And in this video, he has minimized the physical to less than half. When your physical needs aren’t met for basic survival, it throws the intangible needs out the window. That’s where you get the statement: What’s love got to do with it? Love is an action word. But if somebody isn’t providing for your well-being, then they are showing they don’t care about your well-being, and if you are moving as a household unit and the man is not even carrying less than half that weight, then that means the majority of the household surviving is on the woman. And that throws things out of order and alignment. I think what he did in this video is reduced the man’s role. Others might think he expanded it, but if you play it back, he said the man would give less than half and provide in other areas, that obviously don’t involve money and will not sustain your basic wellbeing.

This reads like the comment of a woman... I'm going to go with that assumption and say this: How much money a man has is not an indicator of character or ambition. There are plenty of men (like Harvey Weinstein for instance) who have plenty of money yet deal significant damage to the people around them. The terms you are looking for are masculine identity, purpose, and principles. The money is an accent: it makes a man more of who he already is. But if he doesn't have that masculine identity, purpose, and principles, his only reason for making money becomes making money and, as the ancient wisdom says: the love of money is the root of all evil.

I have said this for a while now, the 3 main things men provide: 1) Protection 2) Security 3) Management (for the future) Security and managing the future of the family are two separate things. This is also the order in which they come in. What men look for from women that they can provide to men: 1) Take care if the man (physical please, verbal and emotional encouragement) 2) Submission 3) Order in the home (maintain the home from cleaning, cooking, kids/mans life structure like doctor appointments, lunch for work/school)

Thank you king! Me being a wife, my soul needed to here this. My husband and I been married for 20 years and the season, what Mr. Tripp has explained is full swing. Both my parents has gone on to glory along with my grandparents and aunts so i have no wisdom around me. I refer back to my past examples and from what i recall I was shown that the man is the provider financially and if he couldn't provide financially he was consider worthless. I want to believe that because my husband is worthless because he does what he can for his family until he is blessed with employment. Hearing this made me want to stand by husband stronger than before. Thank you so much for this wisdom!

Grammer correction-I don't want to believe my husband is worthless because he is sooo much more.

PREACH! Shame the devil! Tell. The. Truth. Every relationship I have had as an adult woman I have been the bread winner. My ambition and monetary goals stem from my own ish from childhood. (In some respects a grand achievement; in others a heavy burden.) I have killed myself in trying to figure out, trying to learn how to give a man “purpose” in my life because I don’t need their money. Along with that, I’m Latina…I’m domestic…I MUST have a clean house, I love to cook for my man and make his plate. But finding man confident enough to provide the infrastructure I desire - a task that seems unattainable. Lead me. Guide me. Teach me. I’m so thirsty - but not in the secular since - I’m thirsty for a man that can inspire me, that can protect me while enabling me to grow in ways I never imagined. Comfort me. Protect me. Guide me. And I promise you, you’ll experience a love and a level of respect you never fathomed!

He's right... Provision is NOT only money; yet it does include it. Nurturing, guidance, leadership and support by a Husband is just important.

I love this guy !!!! Ladies , stop listening to anyone else and completely concentrate on his views.. then go listen to others.. my mom made 3 times what my dad did.... YET.. my dad purchased foreclosed acres and flipped them... he repaired their vehicles.. he fixed anything broken in their home.. HE BUILT HER DREAM HOME FOR 25% OF what it would have cost ..

Well said… I’ve been trying to explain this to MEN… When asked what I want from a man and I respond with provision, they automatically assume I wanna get in their pockets. I’m forced to break it down to the very last compound🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️

I get what he’s saying, but he should define and spell out what “provision” and “infrastructure” are within the context of a relationship. I think “provision” means *BOTH* the physical necessities: food, shelter, clothing, and transportation. A provider must at least *contribute* to these *provisions.* He or she must also *provide* emotional and psychological necessities: love, support, communication, time, availability, reliability, understanding, honesty, devotion, faithfulness, empathy, respect, fulfilling lovemaking, and trust.

My question is... why does every couple live at or above their means to the point where everything resolves around a Man having to be this bigballer provider 💰 just to be respected. Why can't we just live peacefully in our current situation without fronting. I guess we are our own worse enemies. He made an excellent point 🎯 , i wonder how many women actually took that home with them??

This us why as a woman who has her own your money can’t impress me. I learned the hard way you could have all the looks and all the money but what that character do. Those attributes he speaks of are from a man with values and good character. These attributes will always win
@Krimsunpoetry2 ай бұрын
He's not wrong. Unfortunately, there are a lot of men who don't provide anything else. A lot of women understand this and don't desire to be "kept women", they desire partnership with someone who also understands they're more than a check and some sex.

Decision making and planning is way more important than labor. That's why people think CEOs don't do anything and the laborer is never asked what they think.
