Budva, Montenegró, exploring the town! Join us as we arrive in Budva for the first time traveling from Kotor. We spend the first few days exploring around Old Town and Beach outside the city walls of the old town. We find they have a great Marina with a promenade that takes you all around the Bay. This area is lined with amazing restaurants and pubs - we are looking forward to finding our favorites. We also have to make a trip to the Visitor Center where we take you through the process of registering and paying the Montenegro tourist taxes. Finally, we navigate our way to the grocery store and give a short tour of our Airbnb.

What a gorgeous location! And some place I never would have thought to go until your video. Do you think it's a safe location for 2 women traveling alone? Is English widely spoken in Budva? ALSO can you put the link to your air bnb in Budva? It was beautiful!

Hi Jean! Yes, Budva is very safe as is the rest of Montenegro. English is widely spoken, we had no problems at all and the people are very friendly!! If you do go make sure you get over to Kotor as well. We really enjoyed our stay there and it's only 20 minutes away. If you are looking for an Airbnb in a great location and lo-cost this would be a good option. We didn't add the link because we did have several issues. This host is listed as a Super Host, however, we did need to contact Airbnb by the end of our stay. Thank you for watching our channels and safe travels!! Cheers!!!🍻

Everyone thinks I am crazy for wanting to move around Europe every 3 months until I find a place to settle and leave the US permanently! I'm so happy to have found a channel with "older" people like me doing exactly that. Thanks for leading the way! I'm not a beer drinker but will CHEERS you with wine!🥂

Thanks for all your vids!! Helping me immensely as I plan my trip to Montenegro. Realize it's been almost a year since you were in Budva, but do you remember there being quite a bit construction near the city center/old town? I'm looking for a place couple months to write so factoring in what the noise issue will be there. Thanks!

Hello Again! Heading to Budva next week for a month+! Great Video!! Question - I don't see any videos on Switzerland or Norway. These two countries are not part of the Schengen...right? So you/I could head there for part of our 90 day get away. No??

Yes, you can go to Switzerland and Norway along with Irland and Great Britton to get out of the Schengen. Those countries are a bit expensive for us, so we stayed in the Balkans.

Do you need a negative pcr test going to Montenegro.

We needed one at the time because we weren't vaccinated within 6 months. It was the rapid antigen test that was required and it was only $20. I would check here ro make sure. Cheers 🍻 apply.joinsherpa.com/travel-restrictions
