Bro the real problem is , when you face thunder dragon branded and he have thunder fusion and branded fusion in his hand and you have one negate only. that is what i face and lose to it 🗿

No negate format is one of my favorites. Actual interaction.

If the thunder dragons cards weren't limited and semi limited, it would be tier -1.

That Maxx C top deck. Story of my life with that card. 45% of the time mine gets negated. 45% it comes too late. The last 10% it works. I have zero luck with that card.

Yeah this is what YGO is all about. This is why I love rogue duels. You can’t get this kind of back and forth fun in meta duels. At least not as often. I remember watching two of my friends play an Ishizu Tear mirror and game 1 lasted nearly an hour but nothing was happening.

When the old Thunder Dragon card got a retrain and an archetype around it was so good to see. They are OK for the most part in MD and I see they have potential.

It's funny Infernobles Plunder is kinda stupid good since Blackbeard can equip the infernobles to your ships, giving them resistances on top of the quick effect. Also being able to take advantage of the synchros across two equip based archetypes

Matches like these are the reason first to 2 in master duel would be really hard, I get so tired after a single match, cannot imagine 2.

Really wish every game was like this. Instead it's almost always just *opponent activates maxx c in draw phase* "welp, I don't have my called by ash or crossout so I set 1 monster and pass" *opponent activates numeron wall* "welp"

Plunder patrols recovery is underrated

Plunder looks so fun, but I don't have the money to get the adventure engine right now. Are there any other good options? Is pure plunder (with a bunch of handtraps and stuff) viable? Can we get much higher?

Next you activate Drawhand's second effect to allow both players to draw one, then immediately chain Rapid Trigger as Chain Link 2. Your opponent then responds to the activation of Rapid Trigger by activating Book of Moon from hand, targeting the Drawhand. On resolution, Question A; Will both players still draw one from Drawhand's effect? And Question B; How will Rapid Trigger resolve?

As a Thunder Dragon main, I just frown. Does he not have a Rank 8 play? Also, I never liked leaving my Cross Sheep on the field after I used its effect for the turn and would use it for a Link 4 play (usually Avermax)

God I wish every game of Yugioh played like this instead of so many games ending with being blown out or blowing your opponent out.

I don’t usually say this, but this is one of the master duel duels that are just flat out better than most TCG duels

A Yu-Gi-Oh event, but everybody has to play pull under patrol and dresses pirates and stay in character the entire time you can either beat your opponent normally like a duel or whoever breaks character. YAAAAAAAAARRRRR!!!!

Thunderdragons should get a new fusion to replace Colossus, kinda like Titan, but with the Colossus Summon clause, and “When a Thunder monster’s effect is activated in the hand, even during the Damage Step (Quick Effect): You can target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; negate its effects until the end of this turn.” Also give it no protection effect, this way it’s just annoying rather than being difficult to remove like colossus

Back and forth is what the game has always been about. This modern game state where if you win the coin toss, you essentially win the duel is dumb and totally not fun. That is why a lot of people play old formats. I just prefer to play better archetypes than whatever is meta or toxic.

Sometimes I have a game like this, I wouldn't be mad if I lost. Even if he drew the saggy top deck I wouldn't call it saggy if the turn counter was at 10+.
