I used to have an electric one. But there just wasn’t enough power compared to the gas powered ones. I really saw the difference when cleaning the driveway. Have to stick with my gas powered one until we can’t buy them any longer.

That’s the biggest place I noticed a difference too. Hoping what I use it for that won’t be that big of a deal. We will see.

Those electric ones are fine but will work better if the surface is pre treated with a cleaning solution. Nice video

@bobk.1428 Thanks Bob. Time will tell on this thing. Time will tell for me. This is my 1st try on an electric. We will see how it works and how it lasts.

@@DadsGarageDIY I’ve had a gas powered one for 20+ years and this year it won’t start. No spark, no nothing. I think it finally died a hero’s death. I’ve thought about a electric for the ease of it. What little “research” I’ve done is pretty conclusive that you need cleaning solvent to make up for the lack of sheer power. Who knows, but it kinda makes sense.

@@bobk.1428 Makes sense to me too. Which one did you go with? This Black Max has been pretty good. It has never given me any issues as far as starting and running. The pump failed a few years ago. It started surging. Then This cheap Amazon pump made it 2 years. It's going to take a while to see if I really like it or not. But, so far I do. It's easy to set up, takes less space and is very quite. Time will tell.
