Botox has become a common trend. Where does Islam stand on it? Is it permissible? Are there any conditions to follow?
The impact of botox and the reason it is being used in a cosmetic sense is that it allows complete relaxation of muscles to rid of wrinkles. Botox is allowed when it comes to medical needs, however we need to avoid it when it comes to cosmetic use.

Would botox be considered maintenance. We use lotions to stay healthy and youthful. What's the difference. I am an esthetician, I need to look what others want to achieve in their own skin, in order to be a creditable esthetician and build a client base.

Assalamualaikum I may have lacked intellect to understand, but I haven’t heard anything that you mentioned indicating that the use of botox is haram. I understand your argument, but in my opinion your argument doesn’t hold its strength unless is supported by concrete evidence from the Quran and Sunnah. Also, from my limited knowledge (and correct me if imp wrong), Botox doesn’t manipulate the skin but just relaxes it, essentially freezing it, thus, as a result this negates wrinkles form occurring. Therefore, I am still confused about the issue regarding the permissibility of the use of Botox in cosmetic terms. If my understanding is false, then please correct me. I only question your opinion as I am a student of knowledge and seek to find an answer which I believe I didn’t from your response. Jazakallah

I think what the brother was trying to say is that botox is permissible for medical usage but not for cosmetic means, as Muslims we should never alter our appearance in the pursuit of beauty and we should completely avoid injecting ourselves with these substances because it is a form of multilation and we are putting the body through pain so it is forbidden.

i dont know bro i have a big temporalis muscle my head is bulging out bcs i was chewing to much i close cant see my ears i will use a hat to make them natural smaller and sleeping on side of my head if this not works then i think i will use it bcs some people say its haram and some say it is haram i dont know it more

i hav hyoerhidrosis problem ,it makes my whole body including my face sweaty and it is embarassing me while im in public.. only botox injection can solve my problem ,but im still thinking about it wether i have to take botox or not becoz of the fatwa haram botox
