Oh that looks so delicious. I never think of it but I'll have to give it a try. Ps I could sit by the 2nd floor fireplace for hours. Great video!!!!!÷

We love going up there with some hot chocolate and just let the day pass by. The food was good but we definitely prefer Roundup BBQ now..hope your having a fantastic weekend.

We love whispering canyon! We love geyser point bar and grill too plus it’s our home resort but we love it there

It’s just such a great resort and at Christmas it’s even better. love the views from geyser and if you have never tried the burnt end nachos there so good. Thanks for traveling along and have a fantastic weekend

Hi Todd and Michelle .... Todd, back in the day, the skillet came with a salad that had the most delicious apple vinaigrette dressing. Like you, I seem to remember the original skillet came with a dessert served family style as well. But, that's going back to the 90's and my memory may be foggy. 😅

Wilderness Lodge is our favorite deluxe resort. And love Whispering Canyon Cafe for its gamery and atmosphere. You've really hit all our favorite places lately, which has me dreaming and planning our next visit. Thank you for taking us along for the ride; love you two; love your channel; and love being a fellow traveler. Y'all are the best!

We have tried to love the skillets at WC. But we just don’t. Last time we did the land and sea and the one Todd got. The best thing was the chicken, and the vegan sausage that our server brought us. We love the breakfasts there, and the buffalo burger was good too. So now it’s the place we go to get breakfast the day we leave.

Dean we are the same. We try to give it chance after chance but it always comes up short. We now prefer Roundup for there BBQ skillet. Hope you both are doing great and we will see you in November/December

Absolutely love Wilderness lodge it means a lot to me and Zoe we honeymooned there and that entrance lobby wow, love all the resort merch it’s so nice. I remember when we met you both there and you showed us the fire place it was a great day with our amazing friends. The food looked amazing great video as always thanks for sharing °o°

My husband ❤this restaurant but WILL NOT ask for ketchup 😂 I remember in the 90's they actually had a deli lunch skillet which we enjoyed better than dinner. Thanks for sharing 🤗 Have a Magical Day

Michelle is the exact same way Pamela lol. It is a great location but definitely not our favorite sit down BBQ on property. That deli skillet sounds like it needs to make a comeback. Thanks for traveling along with us and have a fantastic weekend…

I've been to Whispering Canyon twice in the last few years and is one of my favorites. The smoke meats aren't as good as some of my local BBQ joints, but is still pretty good. I love the interaction with the servers and the corn bread is excellent. On top of all these positives, you may get a table looking out at one of the most beautiful hotel lobby's at WDW. Keep up the good work and hope to run into you one day at WDW.

Don't DO IT---Whispering Canyon Cafe - FAIL We loved the Wilderness Lodge and may return for a stay, however, the food at the Whispering Canyon Cafe was a huge fail. We ordered the Carnivore that was $26.00 per person and included House-made Cornbread with Honey Butter, Maple-Chipotle Barbecued Slow-smoked Pork Ribs, Oak-smoked Beef Brisket, Barbecued Pulled Pork, Citrus-Herb Chicken, Country Potatoes, Buttered Corn, Charred Carrots. The Cornbread with Honey Butter was good but we could not taste any honey in the butter. The Maple-Chipotle Barbecued Slow-smoked Pork Ribs was like eating burnt charcoaled jerky. The Oak-smoked Beef Brisket and the Barbecued Pulled Pork was very dry and lacked taste. The Citrus-Herb Chicken was the only thing that we really enjoyed. The Country Potatoes were not what I would consider Country Potatoes and they were very dry. The Buttered Corn was ok and the Charred Carrots were undercooked and not very tasty. I must say the Barbecue Sauce that comes on the side was delicious. We have enjoyed many restaurants on Disney World property and I would say this one is one of the very worst. We so wanted a good experience and thought we would have one, sadly we did not. Our family would recommend Boma, Liberty Tree Tavern, and Tusker House as alternatives.

We love Boma and Liberty Tree as well. We didn’t care for Tusker House but we went when it was family and not the buffet that it has went back to. So might have to give them another try. We didn’t have that bad of an experience but it definitely is not one of our favorite locations. Truly a hit or miss location.
