I think all horses are distracted by grass . Just depends on how much you do or don't allow it . If the rider isn't riding it allows the horse to make its own decisions.

My horse thinks that every time we leave her paddock she gets to eat eat eat and no matter what I do she won’t stop. I’ve watched multiple of these videos and nothing works. She eats and if I lift her head she pushes me out of the way, I can’t move her feet because she ignores EVERYTHING I do. I could tap her on the butt all day and she will ignore it. Cant back her up, nothing. If she does listen and just walk w me she eats the second I stop and refuses to continue walking. Idk what to do at this point

He has another video on getting a horse more sensitive to pressure, maybe that would help?

Riding horses don't normally wear harnesses but I had a very food oriented draft. Had a bearing rein on loose just short enough so her head couldn't reach the ground. I wonder if similar set up would work attached to the saddle horn instead of the harness.

My horse is so difficult to work with because all she will do is eat, but she doesn't react to anything! Which is a pain. What can I do?

Question: Do you put him back into the initial position for his learning and understanding or for video camera logistics? In short, is putting him back important?

K Thiry Both, I don’t want him to think I asked him for anything else besides stop eating. And it was easy to see camera position

Why on the hip? On another for grass, you tapped on the neck. I found that worked. The hip wd be a problem, I think, with my horse.
