Lately we have been re-subscribing to a ton of other channels that we watch on a regular basis. We have not unsubscribed to any of them. And the majority of them have no ‘controversial’ content. We assume it was KZfaq’s way of reducing payouts to channels

I’ve had to resubscribe to a few (that I never unsubscribed from) . . I’ve been lucky but I have heard of many many folks across a variety of channels complaining about being unsubscribed “unbeknownst to them”. It’s not the channels themselves doing it . . THIS is WORRISOME!!! (Implications)!

I’ve never been unsubscribed from your channel, but I have noticed that certain other channel have been shadow banned! Other channels have unsubscribed me though! Funny the unsubscribed or shadow banned channels aren’t ever cooking shows or weather channels! It’s very good that we all talk about this tactic because shining a light on stupidity fosters enlightenment!!

Hello! I have had a youtube account for 20 years suddenly I was blocked and had to submit a gov ID to enter my account. They said My age was a question and I had to prove I was at least 21. Bear in mind , I've had the account to cover those years and my age is 73. I'm merely a subscriber, I provide no content here. KZfaq and Google are folks to avoid.

@@ADONAIsays-so What we are witnessing is the elimination of the 1st amendment. Without deleting it from the constitution. I suggest you start looking at alternatives, as I did ,before it's too late. It's only a matter of time until you see the content they endorse. All else will quietly go away. Before your left high and dry, I suggest you develop alternatives and get yourself prepared for will be the inevitable.

Fortunately I have not been unsubscribed...........yet. KZfaq is doing all kinds of underhanded stuff. Have been for years. Especially if you dared to voice differing opinions on medications, a certain shot and the origins of a certain illness going around for about 4 years now. If I were a KZfaq creator, and I'm not, I would open a Rumble account and every video I posted on KZfaq I would also post to Rumble. It's an extra revenue stream for you, it's no extra work except an additional upload and you will NEVER be censored.

I watch KZfaq on TV, I only grab a device or the computer when I want to comment. If I’m on the Home section in the TV app, this video was in a “recommended” section. I started watching. Then using the remote I went to the channel. The menu said “Subscribe” which seems to me I was no longer subscribed. I exited the video and went to the Subscriptions section and the video was there. I started playing and again brought up the channel and the menu was “Subscribed”. To me it seems to be a bug in the app. So perhaps this is what people are seeing and are thinking they were not subscribed when in reality they are still subscribed like I was. Of course you know your traffic and I don’t doubt your suspicions. Hope this is helpful.

Yes, I have had to re-subscribe to your channel at least 3 times in the last 2 months. It happened again this evening. I am seeing this across most of my channel list that is mostly comprised RVs and non-MSM alternative economic news . However, you are still coming up in my YT home feed a consistent amount of the time.

TRUE! These days, I find myself involuntarily unsubscribed to about a third of the KZfaq channels to which I was subscribed. Sometimes I must re-subscribe three or four times before it "sticks"!

I was unsubscribed but when I had resubscribed, the "bell" was already "on" as default. I thought you had to flip that "on" and was not a default setting. It remembered my initial setting.. hmm. 😳

Yes, I was unsubscribed to your channel when I checked yesterday! First time I was unsubscribed to RV related content. As a firearm enthusiast I follow some 2A related content and, starting in November ‘23, I’ve been getting unsubscribed only to those type channels. I check them daily now and frequently have to resubscribe. I can literally resubscribe to a 2A channel one day and find that I’ve been unsubscribed the next day. Hope this doesn’t become a frequent problem for you/your channel! I’ve been a fan for a while and enjoy your videos.

I checked after yesterday's video and found that I was unsubscribed as you suggested. I re-subscribed, but didn't comment on it at the time. I was still seeing your videos in my recommendations, but hadn't realized that I was no longer subscribed until you mentioned it. However, I should have known. This is not the first time this "phenomenon" has happened to me on other channels. There is a certain homesteading channel that I watch where I have been unsubscribed from at least twice, as well as another RV channel at least once. Both of these other channels have more conservative views of this country, and are pro-2A, so I'm not surprised that I was unsubscribed from your channel considering your own pro-2A videos.

Thanks for the heads-up! After watching your video, I checked all my subscriptions... EVERY ONE was affected in some way...some were unsubscribed, the ones that were still subscribed had the notification changed. Everything is good now. I've double- checked and the corrections did take. Maybe caused by an update? So, it was not just YOUR channel. Looking forward to seeing more adventures!!!

For several weeks we are getting unsubscribed every day from a lot of our subscriptions. Some within an hour of resubscribing. I don't know how the pay works for channels, but I think a convenient way for u-who to not pay you. Your channel, however, we were still subscribed.

Your videos have been a staple of our viewing for my wife and I for over a year now. They allhelped us focus in on our first motorhome purchase this past summer. I did notice recently I had not been notified of any of your videos, a search a few minutes ago brought me to this video and guess what.... I was no longer subscribed. Now that that problem has been remedied, time to go back and watch the last several videos I have missed. Thanks to you both for your insight and advice, hopefully we'll cross paths on the road in the future.

Well, I am sure you aren’t surprised. You have to know in the back of your mind that none of Google’s products are unbiased. I love KZfaq and just accept the bad with the good. I subscribe to numerous firearms channels, including Hicock with over a 7 million subscribers, so I guess I just accept that although Google I’m sure would rather this topic not be on their platform, the lengths they go to to suppress it are relatively minimal. For example, you can Google a firearms manufacturer and their website will indeed come up. This doesn’t make Google heroic or anything, it just means that at least we get the content we want, in the end. It’s just the times we live in, and we all have largely come to learn to live with it. Thanks for the great content, I am sure I speak for many when I say it is appreciated.

Unfortunately this is the new censor, cancel, silence culture we live in since January 2021. The first and second amendment are not a priority for this culture unless you agree with their liberal agenda! I have heard this being done on other channels too. I’ve never been unsubscribed from anyone and my notification bell is always on and sometimes I don’t get notified. I don’t know why. It happened a few times with you and Matt in the past. I don’t know why it happened I figured it was a KZfaq thing. I checked to see if I was subscribed and I was. The bell was on too! I have noticed I went back to see old videos of yours and I know I commented and the comment is gone. It’s weird that happened. But it did. I was thinking if it’s my comments I don’t know. I've been randomly unsubscribed from many of my subscriptions. the problem is I have over 100 channels I watch or at least look through yo see if there's anything I want to watch in them. Still subscribed to ya'll but this has happened to me before with other channels totally unrelated to RV info. One was a wildlife rehabber who put out a truly heartbreaking, but "controversial" video about one of the rescues. I don't understand how or why I was unsubscribed from these channels either. As for the gun videos, I saw them, and even though I am not not not a fan of guns, I thought it was well done and informative, especially since I'm somewhat unexperienced in that area. So I appreciated that the content was put out at beginner levels, without any patronizing comments about beginners, or non fans. It was just the facts, and obvious that you knew what you were talking about.

Hey guys, so excited to see where Jason is going to go to school. I try to watch all of your videos. I think they are relevant to the world at large and especially to the RV community. I have not been unsubscribed. I'm from Texas so, take this as you may; none of your content about firearms or firearm safety has been offensive. Izzy, you are in law enforcement (thank you for your service), so firearms are a part of your everyday life. Sorry guys, your content about rv's seems but I must unsubscribe. People around the USA don't need any help on how to get a gun. From a very early age, most people know we have the right to bear arms. Good luck with your channel, but I'm anti gun. Too many people have them that are mentally ill in this country, and until we as a country address are social problems we need to get rid of most guns .

YT admits to "standards" but having been a sysop and forum administrator for some large forums, I can tell you I've never seen an iron fist without any velvet glove. We humans had some ironclad rules, but a HUMAN respknded to everything within 24 hours, and if there was any doubt, typically THREE admins would have to agree before we censured or banned anyone. I never saw a video on the unmentionable subject. It is a very important subject that might just keep someone out of trouble. I watch your videos to satisfy my RVing dream. I was looking into buying an RV, but with all the poor workmanship I decided not to pull the trigger. Keep those videos coming.

I also had an issue with my subscription to your channel being dropped. I check the status fairly frequently so I caught it and re-subscribed last week. Seems odd. I have quite a few subscriptions but as of now you’re the only one of mine impacted thusly. I also thank you for the-video-that-shall-not-be-named. It helped me formulate a safety plan and though I’m considering taking classes, for now I’m carrying bear spray and a hatchet by the door!

I just checked & was no longer subscribed to your channel. I have been checking many of my other channels that I have been mysteriously unsubscribed to. I have been wondering what the heck is going on with KZfaq... Yes I am subscribed to many 🔫 channels as well as many rv channels. It has been a mixed bag of channels that I have noticed I have been unsubscribed to. I am really getting fed up with the fact that I am missing out on content like yours because of what has been happening. Cmon KZfaq....get your 💩 together. Don't forget it's because of the subscribers & viewers that your platform has been such a success. Stop censoring what we choose to watch!!! I haven't been unsubscribed and even commented on your gun videos, social media is getting scary and don't give up, something happened to me on a platform called nextdoor a few days ago, i realize that this is not the place to talk about it, the both of you are putting out good content keep it up.

Hello Izzy and MJ! I just watched your recent video about subscribers becoming “unsubscribed”. It’s a real thing. I subscribe to several channels that are about the 2nd Amendment or their content is about certain tools that go bang. KZfaq is so bad about unsubscribing people that I have gotten in the habit of checking my subscription every time I watch them. Personally I think it’s politically motivated. It’s a shame that folks can’t create content that’s educational and entertaining without having their viewers mysteriously unsubscribed. Just wanted to let you guys know that you’re not the only ones that this happens to. Also, thanks for creating great and honest content!!

I have heard other content creators state the same thing, KZfaq does unsubscribe folks. It hasn’t happened to me as a subscriber.

I’m glad i came across with this video. After meeting you folks in the Tampa RV show a few weeks ago (big fan of your channel), I was wondering why I haven’t seen any video posted, well guess what, I was unsubscribed (not by choice). Now this been said, I’m a resident of Florida and as a second Amendment rights believer and licensed carrier , I shared your video with several RVer that enjoy our second amendment rights on the do and don’t of the second amendment (- -. ..- -. …) while traveling in an RV. Coincident or not, it looks like the KZfaq morality police, unsubscribed me without even asking if your videos were offensive. WTH 🤦 people there is a thing as the right to free speech (I guess they are pushing the boundaries of Section 230). Your videos are extremely informative and have given my wife and ideas of new RV adventure in our future. Keep up making videos and thank you for all your hard work in producing such a great content for the RV community.

Thankfully I've not been unsubscribed from any channels I follow. But what I have noticed lately is if I happen to take a look at a channel just to check it out I then start getting notifications from that channel. The channels do not show up in my subscription list but I don't appreciate getting notifications from a channel just because I took a look at one of their videos.

I been trying to grow my channel for 3 years and i noticed that people were not commenting who had commented quite regularly. I have not been unsubscribed from channels but have not got requested notifications. This is across channels across the board. It happens anytime I comment in favor of law enforcement, mention God/Jesus, anything patriotic or in favor of our great country. The censorship and socialism that not only KZfaq but other platforms encourage is disgusting.

We have had this subscriber issue ourselves. We noticed we were not seeing as many videos in our feed as normal, so we went to the channels only to find we were no longer subscribed to their channel. We had to subscribe again and now we see their videos again. This happened to 4-5 channels we follow.
