I'm struggling to make this decision. The G300 I could mount on a boom stand with minimal setup, which is really nice as a solo shooter, but the B500 can overpower the sun.

Hi. Thanks for the message. When it comes to decisions I always think about my priorities. How many times do you actually need to overpower the sun? how do u compare with G300 which can output at max500 wt same with B500?

The B series with no Max mode. And the actual out put would be a littler lower than 500W because of the loss when transmit. The G300 only with the 500W output when in max mode. The B500 with larger output than the G300.
