yeah so I entered an isa showa grow and show competition organized by James the koi whisperer and lee the koi soldier it was based in London kent by exclusively koi ltd aquatic center Sidcup
it was a fantastic day out and met some fantastic people in the process also a big shout out to my son Charley who did the videos/footage well done my son.

Yeah what a way to meet James me picking you up after you had broken down on the motorway 😀😀 it was meant to be like we said also it was great to meet you to we had a fantastic day at the grow and show mate really enjoyed it well done you guys I've got a stunner mate 😀 I'll definitely take what you don't need on the bits and pieces mate 💯 I'll text ya see what you got spare like it all helps thanks for that ,you were fantastic on the day James considering the long travel you had to do respect mate you are a great lad and very easy to talk to ,nice to meet the wife and your friends to very nice people 👍👍🤜💥🤛🙌👌👌👌👌

Dang 🐀🐀. Sorry about that.. had rodents chew through part of mine . Unfortunately with water and rocks it draws them in...I have never seen a rat in this neck of the woods until last year.. just about died when I saw it... Trapped like crazy... Best of luck on the grow and show with the Japanese shows... I have seen a few.. My pond is still frozen.. Hopefully will put new liner in ..in September or next year... 3 good lads . See if you can get some Northfin food ..but I am biased ... Will give you a leg up...shhh 🤣. Will be a beautiful koi.. great markings and has the head and shoulders to support a large body once it fills out . Was glad to see you put in a koi vid...

Nice one Chris 👍👍 yeah I was gutted I had to rip it out ,I'll definitely make it rat proof on the new one lol bet you carnt wait for the better weather mate ,mind you ,you got plenty to do with all the tanks in the aquarium room sorry for late reply I fell asleep lol 🤦‍♂️😄😄 thanks and take care mate 👍👍👊🙌👌👌.

I probably should have watched this before adding a comment to your first pond video but do go check that comment out ! I'd still like to know the planned dimensions and water volume of your new and improved pond are you going gravity fed are are you going to connect your new pump directly to a 2 inch bottom drain like you did for your DIY skimmer so it suck all the muck out the pond and into your filters by force rather than gravity ? Roof over new pond 😁 ???

Just read both of your comments mate thank you very much for stopping by the vids nice one mate 👍👍yeah so the new pond is going to be bigger than the last one 8ft x 6ft x 6ft so water volume will be about 8,000 litre I'll be putting a bottom drain in the new one with an airline that will be connected to an external self priming pump, the water level is lower then the pump so need a self priming one not sure what to get yet but looking into it, the 140,000 L pump test you did was interesting I suppose the pressure will have to slow some what going through filter media, I will be putting a roof over the pond to, already have the pergola 80% built, yeah so got plenty to do mate bet you pleased you got a drum filter now that will be my next big expense lol thanks for your feedback mate appreciate it alot happy ponding and cheers mate nice one 👍👍👊
