This was a REALLY good show; two things stuck out: 1) you can't give someone the ammunition and get upset when they pull the trigger and 2) the fact that he is mature enough to understand and realize that his wife continues to fight for the family and their marriage. Thank you!!

This was an awesome interview. So many people need to hear that the way to abundant blessings is through servitude. Nobody wants to serve, they just want to wake up and be on the front line. That’s not how life works. Every successful leader was once upon a time a servant. Humble is the way and this living proof that this concept really works.

Stay on the journey, and God makes sure that we are before the people that we are called to serve. I had you playing in the car taking my kids to school. Just like the opening of your song, play this real loud in your cars…make them think you’re listening to some secular music (Feel Like Praising), it will catch the ear and heart of who needs to hear it, even if they are not ready. When he said, “Nobody can really phase me anymore,” I felt that. It is the first time I’ve heard someone vocalize, in a nutshell, what I’ve felt since losing my mom as a child, over 30 years ago. Whew!!!!!

Embrace the spiritual gift of encouragement. Aim to please God vs. People. Pray for marriage s anf and families.

This is one of my favorite interviews. I love Ike because he's real.

1. Transparency with God, self and others that have been tried and true. 2. The value in serving selflessly. My goal in any environment I go into is to leave it better off than it was before I came. I’m not looking for accolades. I’m just trying to make things better.

This was such a great episode. I love when people are authentic and honest about who they are. This resonated with me because like you both, I love serving and encouraging others.

The older you get, the more that crazy stuff doesn't bother you. Church people talk about you don't mean as much and don't matter either they sin too. Keep serving. Lessons learned

The part about the baker was soooo for me. I have LITERALLY been struggling and wrestling with the spirit of frustration because it seems like just as I get into my bag and rotation, my friends suddenly do the same in what seems like the same arena that didn't seem to be a thing when we first became friends. Im the biggest cheerleading of the talents I already knew about, even when they are similar to mine, but them surprise joints... on a mental level it makes sense (birds of a feather) but... as y'all said, it brings out an insecurity about there being space for me in these creative spaces. I know I have gifts and uniqueness, but so does everyone else... thank you for speaking to that harsh truth and giving me courage to acknowledge it so God can work on it and deliver me from it. Stay blessed.

As a musician, I've played for years and yes I kinda looked for for awards AND rewards (Praise God 😊) though I never tried to show it, I wanted to 'have an ike' say let's appreciate the musician.. other Key take aways: 1. I'm not going to let my children pay dues for something I can teach them to avoid, ie, pay it forward 2. Spirit of encouragement is a gift. 3.
