This kid is heavy handed...never underestimate a boxer with heavy hands...all it takes is a couple of good punches to rock Davis. But skill and stamina will be the key in this fight. Davis has skill and knockout power but Pitbull looks like he can return the favour. Will not be an easy fight for Davis as Pitbull looks solid. If Davis can't handle pitbull's punches Davis might start doin the Mayweather run!

If his defense was better and got his speed up he'd be a monster. Throws wild and leaves himself open for counter strikes. Tank is going to beat him in 6 round. Not quite he doesn't have the footwork, nor head movement. He has a chin that's for sure and knockout power. He will need to have that footwork and head movement and maybe he can go the distance hell i may be wrong due to all the upsets that's happened this year hopefully Tank can end this year strong.

cruz takes to many blows on the way in to score a clean shot if he doesn't sharpen his defense or head movement Tank Davis will send him to dreamland very quick. cruz has talent but not on same level as Davis

what i see , is james kirkland resemblance, Davis is to fast and good to fall for the bull charge tactic. Davis wins by ko in the 4th.

I think tank is where his gonna get him. But if cruz has been working on that then theres not to much else

He just needs to work on timing. He has power and stamina. With better timing and accuracy on his punches. Rematch with Davis could turn out differently. He has enough power to knock Davis out. I'm not bashing Davis. He is a champion with lots of power in both hands. He looks for mistakes, but he also drops his hands at times after punching. That could be a problem with a fight like Cruz if he works on his technique. We could see a new champion.

@bensheffler6622 I think Cruz should probably have a couple of more fights with some of Tank’s previous opponents such as Garcia, Rolly Romero or even Lomachenko just to show that he can get through those type of opponents before he gets the rematch with Davis.

@@TheFGC indeed brother, the fight with Tagoe to me was like wtf, I didn't even know who he was up until that point, but yeah 2 easy task, he could of get a ranked opponent at least, we still have to wait and observe, how he does with his new trainer, is kinda hard to have that quimic or even see the betterment or worsment on their first fight

@Yoel Franco he could of fought a lesser ranked opponent but still undefeated someone like William Zepeda, I think he would of put up a great fight against Garcia, he is 25 and 0 with 23 KO’S maybe to risky for Garcia. I think if Garcia fought Tank Davis Garcia would get 😴

Cruz is another "flat footed stand in the pocket and rely on the chin" Mexican fighter. it's fun to watch.. but tanks power, timing and defense will not bode well for Cruz. maybe tank can stop cherry picking and start fighting actual threats to his record. he isnt a 'prospect' anymore.

@@TheFGC beautiful idea, but with the way guys are afraid to take losses anymore and protect their '0', it's just not like it used to be. I want to see the best fights, idgaf about records, really. I mean.. duran, leonard, hearns, hagler.. they all had multiple losses. immaculate records should come from being a superior boxer... not cherry picking bums and fighting once a year.... so many great fights that just aren't happening because of money disputes, management BS, promoters afraid to expose their guys... its lame. idc what anyone says about fury or wilder as boxers, at least they had the brass to go for it and take huge challenges in their class.

Well said back in the day they couldn’t wait to fight the best and if it was a draw they would fight again ASAP. In Mike Tysons early professional days he had 15 fights in ONE year!!
