There's plenty of channels just like this though so don't get too carried away with the compliments bro I know of at least ten other channels that do the same amount/quality of content in the mma world. I'm not saying they're not good but it's not any better than a lot of other channels that do the same thing bro. I'm just saying yo 🤷🏼‍♂️

This is so well done. No shying away from the early career building years, losses and triumphs before turning pro. Hurdles when turning pro, not just highlight reels and glorifying, it shows the tumultuous and hard won evolution in his style and career. I wish they would do something like this for Ali, Mike Tyson, Buster Douglas, Joe Frazier, Oscar De La Hoya, Willie Pep,Jack Dempsey, Manny Pacquiao, Joe Lewis and Especially Rocky Marciano.

True story regarding Mr. Jack Dempsey. It was 1982 and i was on a field trip from western n.y. to n.y.c. for an event as a 14 yr old kid. Was the last kid in the line walking down the street when i heard a load sound to my right, when i looked up there it was the "one and only" Mr. Dempsey and he was so impressed that i immediately recognized him. The building he came out of was a pawn shop and he was there buying coins. He pulled out a beautiful 1888 silver dollar and gave it to me along with his autograph, our family home burned down in 83 so i lost the autograph but i still have the coin and it's one of my most prized possessions. Happy holiday to you and yours.

@LaZieGoblin I've taken a shot to the plexus, and more than one to the liver. And yeah, your body kind of forgets how to breathe. I'm not saying Badr was a monster; he had moments of kindness to other fighters, but he also soccer-kicked downed opponents, and fought random folk on the street. All people are complicated, but Hari was an asshole, ultimately.

Stopping while you are on top is a wise move? Why? You think its humiliation not being no1 but measly top 100? Everyone knows there is a prime and every athlete will decline, so how is it a disgrace not performing at top level? They are still better than most. As long as you are kinda healthy and happy just keep doing what you do. I hate when people knock on legends for not being at the same level as they once were, when they are still elite athletes and just doing what they like.

40,00 Badr sweared but at the end was a promise which he couldn't deliver, and it showed he had just a big mouth! Rico Verhoeven is a respectable and humble guy, and he deserves the respect of his community!

Great video.... and being Dutch myself I can't denie being a bit of a chauvinist cause, not only does Badr does have a Dutch passport, all he learned and even mastered, was the Dutch style kickboxing originated at Tom Haring's gym Chakuriki in Amsterdam. And besides that the video shows about 10 top fighters all being Dutch and/or Dutch schooled fighters, including Gokan Saki, Remi Bonjanski, Sem Schildt, and Peter Aerts. All K1 Champions. And it's not only the old school Dutch style, but Glory phenomenas Rico Verhoeven and George Hesdes appear. Than there is Enesto Hoost, Eroll Zimmermann, Aflister Overeem and that's just the heavyweight division we're talking not even mentioning Tyrone Spong and Melvin Manhoef and legendary fighters like Ramon Dekkers, Bas Rutten, Rob Kaman which all excelled in the Countries of origan like Thailand and Japan. Nieky Holzken can't be not mentioned in proving that Dutch style kickboxing still is superior over different styles like the capoeira influenced Brazilian style, Sambo influenced Russian style or other sub-kickboxingstyles there are. Holland or The Netherlands if you prefere, still is the modern kickboxing Mekka of the world were some of the greatest, or, I dare say, most of the kickbox started out perfected their skills. It is often said that Amsterdam is known across the world for mild drug policy were the use of drugs isn't illegal (only selling is) or other negative or crime related image, but it is also the kickbox Capital of the world of which I'm proud of.

Ehm regarding to the “Amsterdam and mild drug policy” you mentioned. That it’s ok to use drugs in public right but dealing is not allowed. Let’s set the record straight, you make it look like it’s ok to snort coke or use other class ‘A’ hard drugs in public while walking around in the city or something, as long as you don’t sell it?! Hmzz well I’m from the Netherlands too, and there is a significant difference between class A hard drugs or some marijuana. Hard drugs is a no no and marijuana is allowed too a certain extent

Wow what an information. That’s very true but I don’t know how Rico Verhoeven is the World Champion. What I see in him is just his age, size and resistance power. If I look at others like Badr and all other legends I can almost say he has not technical skill. Such a dull/boring player. I don’t enjoy him playing.
