Pearl is worse than Tate lol She is really cringe - Tate is actually reasonable and not a pretend toughy like all of the other guys on the interwebs trying to act like him. His already briefly addressed these wannabes in podcasts before basically outlining the fact they aren't smart enough to understand his message Tate has also wisened up a lot with age and to his credit a lot of shit on the internet of him is actually cut up and out of context to make it sound like he has said certain things in the same sentence, which a lot of it false Pearly on the other hand says some obvious truths and good things but then tips off the iceberg with this extremist shit that really nobody can actually relate with. No one who hears some of this stuff sits there and thinks "yeh yeh thats what i was thinking" its so far unrelatable that it just makes her look liek a dummy and its quite reiduclous that peopel compare her to Tate. Tate does shit, he gets things done and acts upon his message Pearly just talks about all the shit she hasnt done lol

The problem with people like Pearly Things is that her other more idiotic takes make her more reasonable takes seem trivial or arbitrary at best and idiotically buffoonish at the worst. It's like saying that supporting the traditional family unite should be supported, while ignoring the fact this take came from an obvious racist. While I can agree that good ideas should be supported, not criticizing the person sharing the idea for their more idiotic takes is not gonna help the good idea flourish. It'll just diminish the impact. My biggest criticism of those who criticize JPL though is their need to pretend they don't understand the basis for her actual good arguments. Like her "Women shouldn't vote" argument, which many people seem to love to criticize while ignoring the basis of her argument. Which basically boils down to two things: 1. Women make bad decisions. 2. Equality means taking on an equal share of the duty or responsibility as well. The first is a buffoonish take, because it is applied solely towards Women. Men make crap decisions all the time too, so if you apply that logic to Women you must apply it to Men. Which I have never seen Pearl do. I think this gender centric view stems from Pearl's hyper focus on opposing Feminism and Gender Ideology. However, that is no excuse for making such a moronic argument. Arguments like these make her more reasonable arguments, like the ones exemplified by argument number two, seem less note worthy and just as buffoonish. So I can agree, we should support good ideas regardless of where they originate, we should be careful about where those ideas originate. Especially with regards towards who those ideas come from. Support an idea, but never praise the person. Especially if they are a shit human being. It makes your support of the idea seem like support of the person.

@@frgwyn3760 agreed. The important thing is that we, as a society, take all the good points and ideas we hear and either correct or ignore the flagrant bad ones. I don't need someone to tell me "women shouldn't vote" is a dumb idea. But maybe "idiots shouldn't vote" could be something to look into. @avenger09123
@avenger09123 11 ай бұрын
Shock value may be accurate but the conversations need to start somewhere. Women continue to push every boundary they have access to and usually get it because they are the largest voting block. This has created problems because not enough have common sense or the ability to see how this will impact them tomorrow. For example look at the "colonizer" woman being screamed at in Portland. I guarantee she did not intend for her thoughts to be entirely ignored in favor of racial epithets when she voted for "tolerance and sensitivity."

All of the complaints Pearl quotes from men about women all have to do with women's sexuality. This implies that they believe a woman's worth is dependent on what men deem appropriate in regards to sex, and nothing more. These are the same people who say a woman loses a majority of her intrigue once you experience her sexually. It's reductive and sexist, and clearly would appear that those who follow this ideology wish to control women's sex lives. They never quote how many men have illegitimate children they've abandoned, how many men have std's, or how many men are virgins on their wedding night. Notice I never mentioned abortion, but to be clear, I'm pro life. I also recognize prejudice against women when I see it.

Her point about womens voting rights is kinda based in pure constitutionalism. At first in America, only land owning men were able to vote because they were the ones who actually deserves a say in the matter. In today's world, its a free for all and everybody is entitled to these rights, but in the beginning there is no doubt that only those effected by government's reach should be able to vote.
@PolitikPolitik-fh2qc

Well one thought is that because the family voted as a unit. (and many still do) so marriage and both being able to vote in theory majorly increases the consolidation of married couples. So to reduce that only men could vote so that the vote was always about the same.

Gonna be honest, this is definitely disappointing after watching Isaac's and Sydney's videos about the Vice feminism panel, where Pearl really seemed to have a solid head on her shoulders. @WK-47
@WK-47 6 ай бұрын
Absolutely, but that's what you'd call common sense. Cancel culture, assigning guilt by association, and being unable to separate the individual from their ideas/group identity are part of the MO of the "woke"/ultra-progressive/authoritarian left. By their metrics, if you're identified as belonging to an "oppressor class" or have even the most indirect connection to a problematic figure, you're persona non grata, no ifs or buts. Same goes if you're involved in the creation of something like a piece of media and deemed problematic according to whatever the current standard happens to be - that work is cancellable regardless of its content or own merits. Sure makes you miss the times when it was actually about diversity or fair treatment, freedom of speech was still respected, and terms like "racism" and "fascist" still carried the serious meaning they're supposed to...

Amen. It's one of the undervalued aspects of marriage. You can face most things in life as basically one unit with two minds. As long as those minds aren't nuts, you can better approach pretty much any situation, to say nothing of how much easier practical life can be when you and someone's who's hopefully your best friend split living expenses, the duties of maintaining a home, hardships, etc. That however is the ideal, and to achieve it you need cooperation, communication, and compromise. Marriage is hard work but well worth it, but it's not easy for the average young person to appreciate the former when they often don't believe in/consider the latter. Good women have a pacifying effect on good (and sometimes even bad) men, which doesn't mean sacrificing masculinity. Guys who think being influenced by a woman denies them their masculinity are insecure. Real men are confident enough in their judgement and themselves that they can listen to a woman and do something she suggests without being any less of a man. For what it's worth, this is coming from a guy whose first marriage broke down. (We're now separated - we made a great match but couldn't maintain a stable relationship so eventually ended it amicably - and we're still best friends. No regrets either since we both tried our best for several years, and overall she made me a better man.) I still believe marriage done right, a good couple doing it for the right reasons and taking it seriously, is the way to go for almost everyone. Be open to the idea, marry the right girl for the right reasons if you find her, and see if it doesn't ultimately make life better. (If anyone actually reads all this and takes every word literally, be real. Replace "man" or "woman" with whatever you like. From the successful non-straight relationships I've seen, the same logic still applies. You can hold whatever sociopolitical views and still place great value on marriage. If you're specifically against the whole concept/institution of it, ask yourself if two people in a healthy, committed long-term relationship is a bad thing just because they decided to get married.) tl;dr: I hear you. When I was still married, despite us both having serious mental problems, my wife helped steer me without being too controlling or taking away my autonomy. She could say some real nonsense, sure, but she also helped me make better decisions and generally behave more responsibly. Props to your lady for helping you not get killed, and double props for listening to her. Wishing you both all the best.

I think what she refers to when she talks about the fact that women in her opinikn shouldn't vote is the following: Before women had the right to vote, going to war was something very likely you could expect as a man. So because women might not be 100 knowledgeable on an issue that hasn't come up in half a decade, they shouldn't be allowed to vote at all? That sounds ridiculous, plus I don't think at times of war women are the ones rushing in and supporting the war. Everyone says women are too emotional and whatnot, at times of war that usually means that they don't want a war since that's scary and ends up with their husbands and sons dead. Also in a war, if the troops fail women are the ones getting r*ped and m*lested, I think that get's us a right to vote on war matters as well

She's like a character on SNL. Even her wardrobe. She lives with her dad who she says is a 1percenter and dresses like a 10 year old. I definitely agree with her stance against trans in sports and women already have equality, but she's so crazy on the rest. I'm from the US and didn't even know men signing up at a certain age was a thing still. My man and I often talk about equality in terms of the genders complimenting one another. To us equality is more I fulfill my duties in the relationship you fulfill yours. When it comes to Pearl though she wouldn't have such a platform if people from the US weren't so divided. Both sides are afraid to agree on anything. You can't be in the middle and speak out or both sides are going to come for you. My middle stance love who you want as long as you're both consenting adults, I believe in gun rights even though I was Widowed with 4 kids at the age of 23 because of a shooter. I can be loving and supportive to an actual person with gender dysphoria and call them him or her but I don't do the they them non binary b.s. I definitely don't believe in puberty blockers or these science experiments they're doing on kids. I believe in the right to abortion and definitely birth control. I also agree that if a woman intentionally gets pregnant and the man doesn't want a kid he should have the right to sign away the responsibility to the child. There's an equality we could definitely use. Ok I'm ranting but anyway..

Pearl is by definition a provocateur, the vast majority of her comments are spot on. There's no question that Pearl takes advantage of shock value and click-bait to attract attention and has left a few statements hanging that could have benefitted from more explanation. The Nick Fuentes interview & the bot inflated artificial backlash and hate that followed inspired the song "Why Can't We Talk About The Jews", and the fact that she had to take down that video perfectly illustrates the point that she was making. You're a smart man Isaac and I really enjoy your videos and perspective, but I think that you have taken a very granular approach to your review of Pearl's content and have missed the bigger picture. A perfect example of this is your decision to talk about the "Why Can't We Talk About The Jews" song before mentioning the Nick Fuentes interview, viewers who are unfamiliar or who haven't watched the full interview & followed the aftermath couldn't possibly understand why Pearl would write such a song, which makes it extremely easy to dismiss her as a lunatic. It's not clear if you intentionally put the horse behind the cart or came across the videos out of sequence & were unable to see the connection between them and the larger statement she was making by intentionally writing the provocative song knowing that they will freak out and force her to remove it. As with most controversial people, especially those who set out to be polarizing and worthy of attention, like a provocateur for example, extracting the good from the hyperbolic might be necessary from time to time. There is, however, a lot of hidden value that gets overlooked and worthy of our time to explore the dismissed or radioactive "bad" content in relation to the cultural context that it was presented, and could initiate valuable conversations with others or a deeper contemplation that can be explored on your own.

Create a stir & force ppl to have conversations about certain topics. From where I made it at 11 minutes in it doesn't look like Isaac showed Pearl"s reaction to Piers saying she dedicated that song to NF... She clearly explains (or tries to) the point & intention of the song & how her point was about the inability to talk about certain topics without the backlash & her feeling pressure to remove the video only proves the point she was trying to make. And it went right over Piers' head. Not only that but Piers also censored a portion of the song on his show called Uncensored... So the irony is there all around & yet ppl wanna harp on Pearl for asking why people can't talk about certain things.

I really hope that she gets back to keeping her cool and presenting herself as one of the few “logical” women on the planet. I’m pulling for her.

Interesting that her channel has not been banned while an Undead Chronic has had his channel yeeted 13 times, and Hammer Hand 8 times. And she says far more extreme things now. Makes you think there's rules for people with a Y chromosome and rules for people with the double X, or identifying as such.

Also she was sandbagged by Morgan on that TV show about the song, the producers told her all week that he was on her side about censorship an then literally as she sat down they switched it up on her to have her actually pointed not be talked about an just to make her look crazy.

Isaac bud I agree with you most of the time but war isn't just fighting. There are many jobs in war women can do a lot of things and fighting doesn't have to be the thing. I don't agree with this chick on a lot of the stuff she says but honestly if you are voting you should be required to have more skin in the game then sitting on the side lines if war breaks out.

She has a point about the selective service and voting. Remember Trudeau and Nesom were very popular with the women’s vote… I’m Rome you had to serve to be a citizen, until then you didn’t have as many rights.

She's actually made some good arguments about her position on voting. I don't agree with her on Everything either but she runs a good show and if you are going to challenge her on her ideas, at least show her content where she is explaining why. This is only part of the discussion. She makes some strong arguments that women in general make bad decisions.
