I am a fat girl. I suffered from Depression which never made me want to take care of me. Recently I have grown close to my religion and I was never this motivated to not only defeat Depression but also my fat. I was 2 months ago 90 kgs . But now I have reduced my weight to 74 kgs. I plan to go down to 55kgs. I'm proud of myself and am happy.

Fun fact: A lot of bars stopped serving Bud Light at their locations. Not out of solidarity for the protest but because drunk patrons are getting into bar fights for calling each other gay for drinking it and the establishments can't fucking deal with it.

In my personal experience- it’s never what I say that upsets my overweight friends - it’s literally just that I am existing. Like… the offensive thing thin people are often doing that upsets fat people is not being fat 😂 I’ve been bullied to high shit for my weight, *mostly* by overweight women. 😂 I would literally *never* tell someone they shouldn’t eat something- and I’ve rarely seen that kind of exchange in the real world. Do you know what I DO see a lot? I see a lot of people asking me why I’m NOT eating a certain thing. Or why I DON’T drink when everyone goes out together. Or why I DON’T want to just go out to get food with my friends EVERY time we hang out (It’s so goddamned boring to only ever “get lunch” with someone) I’ve literally faced more pushback by NOT engaging in gluttonous bullshit every other day. The kicker is- thin people aren’t actually judging fat people as much as they think. The problem is- people in today’s world see someone living differently than they do as “oppression” or “offensive”. In a society where we are REALLY trying to convince ourselves that health isn’t a real thing and we made it all up in our heads to “shame fat people” - anyone that ISN’T fat is going to be seen as a straight-up threat to the new world view. The fat dude belly dancing isn’t actually fat though. The man very clearly had bariatric surgery. The “fat” is loose skin and is a remnant of their previous obesity, and it’s caused by rapid weight loss. It’s way way expensive to have removed, and to my knowledge surgery is the only way to have it removed.
