7:20 I love the fact when you pick up tmtrainer it causes all enemies to freeze and burn. The reason this happens is due to how it worked in gen 1 pokemon. When you activated tmtrainer effect in a battle by a glitch move, the music fades, the pokemon is frozen solid and the game states that tmtrainer is frozen solid and is hurt by the burn. When that happens the Pokémon's health us drastically increased and slowly goes downs and the health is wrapped around a few times. This should always kill it.

Kind of hard to see the example with Yum Heart (around 4:00) when you're covering the second character's health. Still pretty neat though!

I always thought that the bloody bombs taking hearts wasn't necessarily a secret, just the item's main ability.

While the Left Hand causes the chests in The Chest to contain Devil Deal items, Gilded Key will do the opposite in the Dark Room. The starting chests will contain regular items.

I love the berserk suplex combo. They turned a bug into a feature in the best way possible.

The sharp key also allows you to open chests spawned with the item "options?" and open them without despawning the other reward.

If you use "The Lovers?" card as Keeper or T. Keeper, you gain a Broken Coin Heart, which takes up one of the precious few HP slots you can have as those characters. It's definitely one of the rarer heart variants

As we doing it... 9:54: Hallowed ground aura gives cone head effect. It means that if you have cone head item, you can ignore damage from demon beggars and Blood donation machine (And any damage source in the game, in fact)

I definitely knew about the blood bombs one, back when it was Antibirth, I was playing the lost and I accidentally hit the bomb button and died.

In coop mode, you can use mom’s bracelet to pick up tainted forgotten’s skeleton as a different character.

With each use of lemegeton, the found soul will receive a wisp of his own (if you have him of course). Although, the found soul's wisps have no effect other than being good defense. For some reason book of virtues doesn't do this at all.

Something interesting I found out recently- holding petrified poop grants poop related enemies a chance of spawning a coin or heart when killed. I only got to test it on dips, squirts and Dingle, so I can say it works for them, but can’t confirm any others- though I don’t know why they’d be different.

I have 2,000 hours on Isaac and I'm actually surprised by some of those! These are amazing videos! Good job to you and to everyone who comments on more secrets!

How To Jump will reset the fuse on the bomb form of Tainted Forgotten (such as in the Hot Potato challenge). Useful if you need some better timing on the explosion loop or just want to carry the skeleton without needing to constantly throw it around.

not sure if this is ACTUALLY obscure or not, but in relation to piercing bombs with dr fetus... the forgotten synergises with dr fetus, which is fairly obvious, when you pick it up, the forgotten can charge his shot to instead throw a bomb instead of the bone, but did you know this bomb can actually deal contact damage? it only works when the bomb is airborne, but i thought it was an interesting little tidbit for the forgotten.

Magneto: Chests that are close to Isaac open automatically, this includes spiked chests without taking damage; and just like Sharp Key, can be used to steal the contents of chests in Challenge Rooms.

Ipecac also gives self explosion immunity to forgotten (it should work with berserk too)

Found out about the Blood Bombs by the hard way. And by the hard way I mean playing the Lost.

Another thing to note: if going for the 2nd knife piece don't use mama mega on that floor. Using mama mega will take effect into that part of the room even when you go through the entrance to start the 2nd knife piece making the route back to exit being much more difficult **from personal experience**

Using How To Jump with Thunder Thighs creates shockwaves when landing. Not sure how common this knowledge is, but it hasn't appeared in a video yet.

Said it before but Jupiter synergizes with the ponies. They make it so the speed boost that acts as Jupiters charge doesnt get consumed, meaning it turns Jupiters usually unusable "speed up" into an actual speed up. Charging the item is still required if I remember correctly

Here's a neat little obscure trick that I think should definitely be in the next video: You have the Options? item as well as the Broken Padlock trinket, a chest + another pickup you really want/need spawns after you clear a room, you can bomb open the chest (except haunted chests), grab the pickups that spawned from it and the other pickup won't disappear! It's only if you touch the opened or unopened chest that makes the other pickup disappear. However, if the bombed open chest spawns an item instead and you snag it, it WILL cause the other pickup to go poof. Oh, and you can do this with Sharp Key as well, but you'll ofc be using keys instead.

Dead cat dissappears when all the 9 lives has been used. It also removes the guppy transformation if you had it.

Not sure if you've done this before, but spirit sword will give a screen shake effect when swung if you have a high enough damage stat (works for 100 dmg). Got it during the pong challenge, very OP and was a neat find!

i haven't experienced this myself so i don't know if this is true, but i've heard multiple people claim that you can (VERY rarely) teleport to the Ultra Secret Room with things that would randomly teleport you, even if you haven't found it normally

Nice video like always. This makes some items aktually usefull. It would be nice if you could demostrate if some item combs also work when picked up in different order. (Like do you still get the bomb immunity when you pick up dr. Fetus last?) I know that for libra+soymilk thr order which you pick them was relevant pre repentence.

a not very well known synergy The Poop + Hallowed Ground Activating The Poop causes that instead of spawning a common poop, it spawns Hallowed Ground without taking damage (And the effect of spawning it by taking damage can still be used)

For a while I thought it was just the worst boss item, worse than Breakfast because it doesn't even give you a filled heart container

You missed the best part about hollowed ground: you can keep leaving, than reentering a room to spawn other holy poop, which stacks the chance to negate damage :)

You said previously that the pretty fly orbitals will instantly kill some fly enemies but this is actually true for some other orbitals as well (such as slipped rib)

apparently Dr. Fetus and ipecac only give immunity for only your dr. Fetus bombs. All other explosions, even your own, will hurt you. I found this out when I had those 2 items plus compound fracture :'^)

This is one obscure fact, maybe a bug? When playing in multiplayer as tainted Jacob and Jacob and Esau normal Jacob will be damaged by the dark Esau (other characters are unaffected) It's not about an item, I know, but I think it's pretty interesting nonetheless

The reason why familiars have a connection is because familiars shoot the tears in the direction you are shooting, that’ll probably also work with 360 or whatever is called maybe joystick

Did you know that giving eye of the occult to azazel gives him brimstone range? It will also have synergy with loki's horn and monstro's lung, giving him a LOT of lasers without sacrificing charging speed. And the cherry on top, the kinda infinite range is applied only to azazel, it doesn't apply to incubus or twisted pair; they will shoot as if the have marked tears.

Why would you think Strawman is useless, it's one of the only way to use sacrifice rooms while playing The Lost without wasting lives, and Keeper is awesome for sacrifice rooms

Not related to item effects, but it's a cool little detail I noticed in game: When a maggot type boss (Chubby, C.H.A.D. or Carrion Queen) eats a bomb while charging, you can see the glow inside of the boss coming from the lit fuse of the bomb. It's very subtle, but easier to notice with Curse Of The Darkness Also probably a better known fact, but when aforementioned bosses eat a bomb, its fuse time is reset (so for example if a bomb is about to explode and gets eaten, it will still explode with a delay)

The hallowed ground if you have the poop will drops without taking damage usino the active item

Friendly bishop can also shield you but it works differently but same with the other friendly enemys this could result in an immortal army if you could keep it alive.

Another one -- Red Stew provides a draining DMG up, but killing enemies actually restores a bit of the damage. If you consistently kill enemies, you can actually make the stat boost last longer, even though its drain rate increases as it gets closer to 0.
