I'm fairly certain in the manga they use "retard" instead of donkey. It holds a bit more weight in my opinion but I understand why they change it, it is a harsh word.

Nah, Pat was wrong. Isagi said himself that he can’t emulate Barou’s shot or drive. Devouring means a whole different thing in Blue Lock. His goal was just his direct shot, which he’s had for a minute

sad that the anime kinda ruined the last part. The point of it is that chigiri just scored that sick goal but Isagi is just lookin at Barou crawling on the floor. Was such a badass moment, almost equal to the donkey moment imo, but it gets glossed over here

@@ermika_kris6256 Maybe it was the animation team showing that they were influenced by Hajime no Ippo? I know in that show whenever a character shows spirit, drive or determination, a green dot glows in the center of their eyes. Here it’s like their eyes are burning green

The character's aura is based on the color of the manga cover they're in. Just google the manga covers and you'll see which colors a character's aura is gonna be.
