@@thejuantonsoup it wasnt, that was a fan translation. In the official translation of the manga isagi calls him a "loser", and in the japanese raw "ヘタクソ" is used which is said "Hetakuso" which roughly translates to bad/unskilled at a task

I like how Barou, correctly, calls out Isagi's mentality as being the same as his: both want the team to play the way *they* want them to play it. The difference, of course, is that Isagi's method *is* working, which ties directly to what Ego said an episode ago "Talent is the skill to *prove* one's own ability."

Even messi and cristiano dont have an "area" outside the penalty area in which they can score basically 100% of the time like barou or kunigamis crazy consistency in scoring long range shots. Basically all the important characters have been crazy efficient with their shots lol

In professional football it's actually uncommon to see players constantly doing the ball control Nagi does (they do ball controls to quickly take the opponent out of the way by changing direction, but not in the style Nagi does of jumping and crossing legs, still love him tho)

Ball juggling and control (Nagi) is a real thing, Ronaldinho Gaúcho can even no-look pass, with his back! He runs as if he is going to receive a pass, and then runs past the ball and passes with his back to a teammate, without looking, he just remembers/predicts their positions, and he has done it multiple times not just one lucky play
