Hi. Love your preaching. I am Roman Catholic. I wanted to make a comment. While I agree that many in Roman Catholicism have only a very superficial understanding of YHWH, the Messiah, His Word, and His Will, this very superficial understanding extends to many Protestants and Jews as well. I think the most important message is to seek the Lord, where ever you come from, from wherever you start, and seek the Lord wherever He take you. It does not matter where we start, all that matter is where we end.

I was also Roman Catholic since as long as I can remember, involved in the church. Seven years ago the Lord changed my life and I realized that although I loved Him and prayed I didn’t have a relationship with Him; I did not truly know Him. I couldn’t remain calling myself Roman Catholic because I realized that by doing so I was submitting myself to the authorities of the head of that institution and not to Christ; even if it’s just verbally calling myself that’s proved to be a stumbling block for my brethren and family (who continue on that path.) Because of my testimony I believe that everyone that receives the Spirit leaves the place where they are when they were called (just like Abram left his place of birth to the promised land that God offered.) Eventually we don’t want to be associated anything that can make us stumble. We want more of Christ and less of ourselves. The traditions we grow up with must be left behind.

Super interesting how you dig deep into Israel’s history and explain to us why fasting was so important because of the way they used to prepare food from scratch and how time consuming it was back then! Fasting=free time=seek God’s face

I rarely comment, but I seriously would like to thank you for your leadership in helping me understand the bible. I started out just reading the bible and felt clueless about the interpretation. I honestly felt that if I was truly going to hear God's voice, I had to find an interpreter if you will so that I could get fed. Thank YOU BIG TIME FOR BEING MY FEEDER OF THE WORD.

Pastor, got a question, could verse 21 be one of God's promises as well that starts from a believer passed down to generational believers?

Did Christ not die for us to be free from the Death Penalty? Not die for us to quit sinning. We are free from the Sin Penalty which is death. Separation from God.
