Fasting from bread is a tremendous undertaking in modern quality of life.

Fasting heals diseases, takes away the desires of the flesh, and cast out evil spirits. A pure fast, to God, is a great thing. A spiritual offering, pleasing to God. ~1 Peter 2:5
