Why does Cody give off that vibe of the extroverted kid who just adopts introverted people as friends? Like the way he tries to talk to Norman is cool, and how Norman tries to seem cool in-front of him by drinking and putting the bar to sleep. And Old Tony’s and Shark’s interactions are amazing too, both being diametrically oppose on their views on killing but the idea but it’s obvious they have some level of respect for each other and are on equal playing field (judging by how the shark will at least humour some of Old Tony’s ideas and to my memory doesn’t flat out insult him to the same degree he does to Cody (“are you Irish”)). Additionally Tony’s phone is kind of is the great equaliser in their dynamic as sure Shark has a bat and the power to send someone’s legs flying ; but Tony has a phone, this ‘god box’ which can seemingly do anything in the eyes of shark. Great Rp, Great dm, Great viewing experience. Can’t wait to see and more and ramble about this to friends.

It's jarring to see Tekking being the voice of reason, now that he is essentially the Duros tank role of this group. Such a departure from his chaos-loving William :D

I love the fact that Tekking's and Brigg's characters are the total opposites of their One Piece characters in every way.

I find incredible that something as overdone like isekai is, Rustage managed to make it 100 times more interesting adding the whole aspect that all players are from different time periods. Incredible episode 1, I am excited to see where Rustage takes this campaign especially how less limited he is with his imagination.

It's interesting to see how chaotic group dynamics can be by comparing one piece dnd to this. I feel like with tekking as the established leader, the flow of the initial episode was smoother. But shark going on a rampage and fighting racism was cool lol

when i first saw this i was like "Yeah this doesn't sound too interesting, but I'll watch the first episode just in case", and now that i've watched it, i'm actually really hooked and can't wait for the next!!

An Isekai where the MC is from medieval Europe and he's like a serf or something and he gets put in a normal fantasy world would be really cool since they don't have any concepts of fantasy worlds like we do.

Spent like 2 minutes laughing at Briggs Character. -Why he look like he dodged a sexual offenders list. -Why he look like he offers gold farming in WoW. -Why he look like he won a 5% drop rates in a Gatch game. -Why he look like he bully's kids for liking Fortnight.

I can really see Cody and Old Tony being a funny duo. though Cody is younger , Tony lived through the 80s , so I can see them relating to each other in a few ways.

My takeaway from the pcs: Tony: I'm not used Tekking being the moral compass, but I'm about it. Norman: ngl Ragnar is my least favorite pc. (he's good, but like the least good) So I was excited to see what briggs would do. And I wasn't disappointed Cody: His design and personality are great and I want to see more. Shark: He's the best by far. What do I say that everyone else hasn't.

I love the idea that if they beat this and retain the memories of the experience the Gotti Family lives into Norman and Old Tony's era, and Cody ends up as Normans game-loving grandpa

Watching this live was absolutely hilarious and I can't wait to see how the rest of this series plays out

My opinion on the players and there characters. Briggs and Norman- he was kinda overspoken by others I'm looking to see more. Tekking and old Tony- so wholesome the party has nice dad. Green and Shark- deliciously dark I love it favorite character. Shwabidi and cody- Broooooooooo

Wasn't sure what to think of this group's dynamic at first but now I'm loving it

It would be funny if all of the characters were connected in one way or another. Like the Shark, when he get back to the real world, went into the witness protection program and move to Nebraska and married someone who is 20 years younger than him; a widow with a 10 year old kid. The Shark has a kid with the widow. The 10 year old kid would be Old Tony’s grandfather and the 10 year old kid’s half brother would be Cody’s grandfather. And Cody’s way younger sister is Norman’s mother. This is just the first episode so, we might learn of Norman, Cody, and Old Tony’s family history in the future but, this is a good theory.

First time I came across this, absolutely hilarious, great concept, excellent characters and superb roleplay.

Tekking in ONEPIECE DnD: Kills old men Tekking in ISEKAI DnD: Plays an Old Man

I can't wait to see more of this! You are an amazing DM Rustage and I'm so excited to have 2 DND series to listen to with you as the DM!

I love how so much more diverse the characters' temperments here are compared with the 'One Piece' game being played; not saying either game is better than the other, however. What I enjoy is how for one guy this situation is the perfect answer to his otherwise absolutely crappy life (I feel for him, and mentality-wise would be in the same mindset as Norman). Then there's Tony who is enjoyably down-to-earth and so he just wants to find a way back home, but is willing to accept that this bizarre situation is now his reality. Cody comes across to me as the chilled and calm individual who can often be the badly needed voice of reason when Tony's age induced potential leadership role fails him, albeit to me his hyper 'gym-bro' attitude would be a little disturbing. Finally, the Shark's insane level of pure brutality sitting beside his solid refusal that this situation can possibly actually be reality is the perfect fourth cornerstone in this evenly matched and equally strange group; his near villain attitude I can see causing everyone potentially A LOT of problems later on when things don't revolve around combat. Watching this first episode has got me to thinking of my own character in this particular set of circumstances, so I can't wait to see where things go from here.
