It’s easier than tediously deactivating every pillar. Ishtar has a predictable attack pattern that changes for every 5% or so of her HP, so if you pay enough attention you can predict when she will use Hamaon and Mahamaon, and if you can do that you can safely use Black Frost and Macabre to debuff and attack. Nahobino’s Profaned Land has an insane damage output at this point, combined with Venom Chaser Ishtar will not live past her fourth turn.

Ok so through fighting her recently I actually discovered something. Ishtar usually opens on Dreadful Gleam. HOWEVER if you just throw everything you have at her turn 1, she'll instead use Ziodyne.

lol I just did this on normal. Same team basically. I also used kannabi veil on that first turn to withstand dreadful gleam. Learned along the way absorb or reflect will end opponents turn not just void 2 turns; it’s more relevant in this fight than others since she has 8 turns. I don’t think she used gleam more than once.

This is a godlike attempt. What else can I even say? Are you going to do this with the other smt games? Personally I'd love to see smt 4 done.

I'm trying to play smt 4, but I'm having issues progressing the game because of a glitch (I'm playing it on a emulator). I will expand upon this in the future, but I do want to play it and DDS as well. Also, sorry for the late response.
