Easy Work: The Pistons had a 26-9 record against Chicago from 1988-1990 eliminating them 3 straight seasons in the playoffs....Isiah Thomas' Pistons dominated Michael Jordan's Bulls until the Pistons were injured in the 1990-91 season where they had 5 guys in their 8 man rotation injured: Thomas - wrist, ankle; Dumars - groin/toe; Salley, Edwards, and Aguirre - back. From 1988-1993 the Pistons organization got rid of the following guys: Rick Mahorn '89; James Edwards/Vinnie Johnson '91; and Johnn Salley in '92. The Pistons built their team from 1987-89 acquiring James Edwards in '87-'88 and Mark Aguirre in '88-89 and they broke up their team by waiving Vinnie Johnson and James Edwards in '91 and then in '92 getting rid of John Salley.
