Why would that be horrid unless a person considers God horrid for creating sex and making it pleasurable when he could have not done that. It makes no sense that paradise is supposed to be a place of all pleasure and wouldn't have sex which is considered one of the most pleasurable things on earth. But the Christian concept of not having that makes sense if following Paul's teachings that all you have to do is accept Jesus died for your sins. He also was pretty prude about sex, even in marriage; so makes sense Christians following him would be too. Muslims instead follow Jesus' teachings of salvation found in his parables and all throughout the Quran that you earn salvation faith, repentance, obedience and works after God's grace and mercy while modern Christians don't have to do anything but accept Jesus died for their sins. Not really much to doing that and it leads to sin which is why James and Jude refuted that false teaching of Paul's.

For example: drugs (more pleasurable than sex), sneezing, farting, peeing, pooping, popping joints, sleep, massages etc. Yet none of those would make sense in heaven since that only reflects what would pleasure a biological body. To even define pleasure on a temporary level (sex) in heaven would mean you aren’t always pleased or in a state of pleasure and that just sounds like blasphemy to me, in Christianity though we believe heaven is always pleasurable since God is eternal aka never ending meaning we wouldn’t need temporary pleasures like sex. He’s possibly referring to Matthew's Gospel (12:32), where Jesus states that “whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come” - implying that there are at least some sins that can be forgiven in the next life.

The Muslim idea of heaven comes from what God says about heaven that He created. They didn't make it up. God is the one who speaks about His own character and His creation. In Islam, they take from God and not what men think about God instead (like in Christianity).

@@nunya54 ? Read the New Testament, Paul was not the only author. E.g John 3.16-18, "Mohammed "said in Surah 46.9 that he was not sure where he or his companions would go. The Quran says every muslim must walk through the fire (hell), and then of course if Allah wills, they come out, so Islam cannot be giving a sure forgiveness. The hadiths however say one will go to heaven for certain if one becomes a shahid, which is why "jihad" is often popular, but historically its popularity phases in and out.
