Being "very cautious" at 170 mph! A different finer breed of human.

when Honda ruled the world. Watching this video, you just feel that there is no fight between Steve and the VFR(RC), they are working together in some sort of magic place, that we have been given a glimpse of via this video.

Amazing how he is using the torque of that bike all the way ...He really was the best. I f you watch other laps of today´s riders, most of them need a sheet of paper which is telling them the names of every section...Hizzy all new them by head...he was one of a kind.I was fortunate to meet John Mc Guinnes last year and he is carved out of the same wood.

Is this a road stock VFR750 or superbike? I ask, as those front discs look awfully small. I know they were, my 1985 VF400R had a single (Inboard) disc (to keep the rain off) lol. That still did 125MPH and I thought I was Hissy/ Dunlop with my Red Honda....ahhh the summer days. To see him going as fast as he does and literally never seems to lose speed except for really big corners, amazing skill level of road racers, one mistake can be too many. RIP Steve, you are/were my hero and we had many in those days.

That is an RC36 91=93 Honda VFR750F, you can tell from the front end, I see it every morning in my living room.

Scott D I'm sorry to disagree, my friend. I have an RC 36, aswell. Lovely bike. The bike he's riding is an RC30, though. Note the quick change front axle holders. Only present on the RC 30, and the SC16. (and, no....I'm not trying to be a smartarse. Please don't take my correction as me being a dickhead.)
