First time I noticed Gail playing rhythm guitar with Bowie. I know she actually wanted to be a guitarist more so than a bass player , so I wonder if this was a now&then thing ? She’s SUCH a fantastic bass player . Hella talented ! And her voice ?! Damn , she must miss him . Their connection was a rare thing , it seemed like .

Imagine having the imagination, creativity and talent of David Bowie and being able to recruit a veritable who’s who of the best musicians (Garson, Campbell, Dorsey, Russell, Slick, Leonard, Plati) to faithfully execute your vision and bring it to life. Its pure magic. That final jam with Garson’s solo at the end is clean, high energy, and unforgettable. A legacy like that is some measure of immortality in my book. Thank you.

Why I never got up off my ass and took the time to see him live is my biggest regret ,what a bloody great live version ,imagine anyone trying to cover this ,they'd be booed off stage ! And that just shows us just how amazing an artist he was r.i.p 🙁
