What bass is that? 🙃 my favorite bass is a musicman stingray 5 string. I don’t own one cuz I don’t play bass but if I did I would get a musicman stingray. I currently play a 7 string baritone mayones as a main guitar.

it's a p-bass. I think it's the most recorded bass in history. I like the stingrays, but they are a little too punchy for my tastes.

I think it's more the pick that gives the notes that bite, but flatwounds with a pick is probably my preferred bass sound.

@@bigbassdaddyyeah8655 just with ears. but you have the added benefit of my isolated bass track. you can see where I am on the neck, and you can hear my bass without any distraction. I have no doubt that if you put in some effort you can figure this out too. Eventually you'll never need to look up how to play anything. you can just hear it all. Well worth the effort if you're really into music.

the song is very simple, plus you have this isolated bass line. I am sure if you give just a little bit of effort you can figure it out. You'll find learning things by ear to be far more rewarding than reading tabs.

what more of a tutorial could you want? you can see me play the notes, you can hear them, and you can slow down the video. put some effort into it and you'll figure it out. Don't expect or even want people to just spoon feed you. This is one of the simplest songs for bass ever. a great place to start figuring things out on your own.

the struggle is the journey. the struggle is the reward. Take a break, and then get right back at it. it's only 4 notes. This is such a good song to start training your ear, and you do have this isolated track to help you focus. You can even see my hands! that's got to at least get you in the right area of the neck. You can do it! I know you can. It's just tough at first, but the feeling you get when you figure it out will be worth all the struggle. also, make sure you tuned your bass!
