It's a long break for Izzy. He was respectably one of the more active champions, with 2 to 4 fights per year. So 5 months now but no fight scheduled could go up to 8 or 12 months before hes in the ring. Its just a change of pace since he's been way more active than other fighters over the past few years.

He said he wouldn’t return until 2027 and was pretty firm about it. So now rumors of him coming is a big deal.

If you go back and watch the fight, you’ll actually see he tried to set up Stirckland the same way he set up Pereirra. To Sean’s credit he remained patient. That’s why his win on Izzy is not as dominant as ppl think. I don’t like Sean but it was a fantastic performance tho ngl.

Nah i dont like that sean guy attitude but he is winning from the start. I have watched their match and from the start his stance and everything is always on top of izzy. Izzy cant push him back most of the match. The sean guy defense is just so good, his relfex to pairing/reflect izzy attack is very good. Again i dont like both of these guys and my judgement is not biased. Izzy is really experienced but from the start of the fight he look like he lack energy and spirit. Is he smart? Maybe. But human is not perfect.
