The word out there is that the Israeli government is not confident in their defense forces being able to carry out such a mission without incurring massive casualties. They're not battle-hardened or tested. If Hezbollah were to attack, the IDF would not be able to respond very well with ground forces being committed in Gaza.

It's unlikely that Israel even had any planes in the air during this. Hamas tried a fake airstrike the other day by blowing up some propane in a group of Palestinian civilians in a convoy but no one believed that particular lie. So Hamas tried again and this time they blew up a Christian hospital in Gaza and blamed "Israeli airstrikes".

It's interesting that you automatically assume that Israel is responsible, with zero evidence. It's far more likely that Hamas was responsible--intentionally or not. anyone have proof? I still see no video evidence this was specifically an Israeli air strike. After all the footage of the terrorist murder spree attacks two weeks ago I'm more inclined to believe the barbarous hamas blew up their own people to use as a political weapon. They beheaded babies after all. They have no moral restrictions on blowing up their own people if it will give them some advantage. so yeah, I'm going to need lots of verifiable proof on that statement. Also, why are there civilians still in Gaza? They were heavily warned and they had time to leave. Hospitals are the first thing to evacuate in proximity to war. The answer is simple: Hamas is using civilians as shields and traps.

The residue from the explosive would be the best indicator where it came from but good luck getting a forensics team in there. What authority is able to prove what caused the explosion? How is it known whether it was a result of an action taken by Hamas or by Israel? What are the reasons used to prevent the supply trucks from free entry into Gaza? Do people doubt the aid will be equally distributed? Are there suspicions that arms, ammunition and/or fighters will be smuggled in or hostages smuggled out? There are reasons why Jordan and Egypt will not allow Gaza refugees to use asylum as an internationally accepted reason to allow sanctuary. What are these two countries saying? If all the innocent civilians are not allowed even a few days of safety, why can't a set number be admitted for a 24 hour rest and a chance to get resupplied with food, water, blankets, cooking fuel, diapers etc? Each group could be asked to take extra supplies to give to others not likely to be allowed in when the fortunate few return. Islam teaches the responsibility to take care of the community. Now is a good time to remember that duty and build on it. Practical ways to get help to the needy just need willingness, the aid itself and a shared commitment to lay down any other reason except the desire to help strangers in need.
