What kind of caps do you get beside the adv cap and flight cap. Does Air Force have caps like the marines?

Air Force always gets all the cool high speed gear that they never use, but stay on a Fob and walk around in PTs all day.

I was just curious what they issued to you guy for you're deployment. I'm in the army and we've had the OCP pattern for a while now. Question, if you guy get deployed to a combat zone do you now recieve a combat patch like the army does? Haven't been deployed yet but I'm assuming it should be soon. Also I thought that the term bootcamp was used only by Marines and Navy. Isn't BMT the correct term and BCT the Army. Not trying to correct you but was just wondering. Cheers🍻

I was supposed to ship out to marine boot camp this week. I got an 88 on my asvab, I was going in as an air traffic controller but i found out about 4 months ago that I was going to be a dad. I wasn’t going to be able to make it to my sons birth. Told my recruiter i wanted to change my due date but now my baby momma doesn’t want me to leave them cuz she’s “scared” of something happening to me as a marine. My next option is the Air Force. Hopefully, after my sons birth, I’ll be able to join soon
