If by "issue" you mean that is literally how the magazines were designed to work. Slip off the baseplate and you can throw it on you XL. How is that an issue?

Dude the last grip module u showed was the regular 365 with the 12 round mag without the little extension. I have them both and the x. The x and the xl mag fit flush in the module.

The XL comes with 12 round mags that work just fine. I found a 15 round mag for my XL, that works beautifully.

Yeah my p365xl came with a 12 round mag but I can buy a 15 rounder with an base plate extension for that gun but it also comes with a longer one for the p365

That's why you buy the 17 round mags. Then the grip extensions fit perfect and gives you the look and feel of a macro grip module without having to replace your lower grip module.

You can tell by the way it's made, it won't line up with the XL. The 12rd mags for the 365 were made before the XL even came out. They were never meant to work together. You have to get mags made for your specific model.

the BIGGER problem is that in many of these 12 round magazines, the rounds have to rotate slightly tip down to be flush with the flat bottom of the magazine. so, about 3-4 rounds in, the rounds will stop rotating back upwards, and will fail to feed. Sig needs to send new fixed followers to all owners of this gun, I cannot get more than 4 rounds through mine with any ammo without it jamming on every single round after that.

Mossberge mc2c is a good alternative

I have a m&p shield plus. the little rubber baseplates always make it to where the mags don't fully seat, so I just take them off. even if it looks a little goofy

The XL comes with 12 round mags. I've also used the 15 round mags, no issues and have recently upgraded to the 17 round mags...again, no issues.

This is why I have 10 round mags with mag guts kits installed, for my P365. And why I run a 12 round with mag guts kit on my 12 round mags. Both add +2 to capacity. And if you can’t afford a couple extra mags but can afford to have several P365 variants then you need to reconsider your priorities.

And that's why you put a X grip on your P365, that's the best upgrade in my opinion

The 12 round with the extension has too much wiggle room. Moves too much in your hand when you fire it. I don’t like it. Nonetheless I have to run it for the gun to feel comfortable at all. Probably swapping for the xl soon

If you look at the difference in the 365 and XL bottom grip, you see there is the notch at the bottom of the 365's mag well that the X and XL don't have. I sanded off the two plastic wings on the top of the mag plate to make them flat and flush with the bottom of my XL. It's snug, but very functional. Wish I could post pics.

Won't most responsible gun owners have enough sense to read about specs and compatibility on accessories they would buy? Sounds like someone didn't do their homework to realize it's universal magazine for either p365 variant, whines instead.

The 12rouns baseplate is to give you the grip of the XL. Not needed if you have an XL. Here’s some actual useful info though. Magguts make mag kits to add extra two rounds to any 365 mags. So you can make that 12 a 14

The x and xl are 12 standard so it doesn't need the extended grip on the mag. That's why the grip itself is longer duh lol. And at the end of the video that's why you need the extended grip for the mag on the regular p365 that's how it's made

I thought this would be a warning about how much those grip extensions rattle and move around. I converted to the Wilson 365X frame and it's much better piece.

I already scratched the regular 365 off my list. The 10 round mags dig into the heel of my hand and make the experience lousy. I've never had this issue with any other compact pistol grip, so Sig really dropped the ball. Thankfully they also provided other options, so X or XL for me.

I have 12 rd mags for my regular 365 and they are fairly difficult to insert with the Wilson combat grip module.

Most people have 1 model of p365 and if you have multiple you won't be constantly switching it between pistols anywase to say you have to leave it like thats a little rediculious

Not really succinct. You can run the 12 rd magazine in a standard P365 w the grip extensions. If you want to use them in a XL or X you must use just the flat baseplate.

if your looking into getting this gun check out the Springfield hellcat first. way nicer in my opinion. a little wider but a hell of alot more comfortable in the hands

You don't go thru that crap with the Glock. You can use any Glock OEM or Glock Aftermarket double stack mag in your Glock and you can even use those mags in several pistol carbines (That's why i have NO interest in getting a pistol other than Glock)
