Poland and Lithuania had the Portal before US and Dublin had theirs. We had same incidents from time to time but we don't make it a big of a deal about it.

One of the funniest thing in my opinion is that the same exact portal was open between Poland and Lithuania (Lublin and Vilnius to be exact). I don't know if it's still operating, but it stood there for at least 2 years (opened in 2021 and there are some records of it from 2023) and it didn't have to be closed for reasons like these. So it could actually work if people showed basic decency.

The funny thing is, The Portal in NY isn't a new thing. This exact thing has been connecting Vilnius in Lithuania to Lublin in Poland. And it's been working there for at least a few years with 0 issues. It's funny as hell how NY and the Irish raged over it immediately.

The place where they put the portal, O Connell Street is one of the worst possible places they could’ve put it due to the amount of drunks and drug users. It’s like putting an ice cream out in the sun and expecting it not to melt. They could’ve put it onto Grafton street which is at least less dodgy of an area.
